Out of curiosity are there any Cov fans that for whatever reason have never been to a game ? I've got plenty of mates who I see down the pub that support your Uniteds or Chelsea's that have never seen there team play live....and I'm not talking about your "could name 3 of the clubs players" type fans either, real fans that support there team via the television etc.

Any Cov fans in the same boat ?

I suppose some of the guys in far off reaches of the world are like that. I'm just pleased they've chosen to support us, whatever the reason.

I am from Dublin but I've been to plenty of games. It used to be cheaper than it is now so I cannot get over to the number of games I would like to. Still don't let a season go by without getting some games in. Sky Blue Army!

Yeah. I only have 5 friends who are true sky blue and go to games, I have another 5-10 who glory support. And when I say support I mean - on the TV. This subject winds me up

You mean they like those clubs. They can name players at those clubs. They like to watch those teams win. If not then in what way do they support those teams? Watching them on TV only is not supporting them to me.

This is a true supporter :claping hands:

Some might have a dig and say not as much as a season ticket holder, but someone that travels so far and puts so much effort in can and will spend more going to 1 game than it would cost to but a season ticket.

Also, I do like the Manure and Chelski "fans" that have told me, "I can't watch the big games, the tensions too much for me" :jerkit:

i also live in Ireland, and went to 12 games last season, all away !

This season, so far went to Nuneaton, thats all

Went to the olympics at the ricoh, but apart from that, not set foot in the place since the leeds game when Turner got inured..

Going no-where near it until SISU jog on...

Away games all the way for me

Tension? They don't know what it means. They should try and be a supporter at our club. Relegation battles are bad for my health.

Not that I'm saying it's acceptable but let's say they still invest there time and money into their club via buying shirts etc. honest to god I have a united supporting mate that's never been to a game that could tell you more about the history of the club and the daily goings on etc. than most season ticket holders,

I suppose it's easier for people supporting the bigger clubs, a united fan say would probably see 30 games in all comps a season on the telly

I know, those poor Man U fans that have to put up with finishing 2nd, it's not like they have a once in a lifetime chance at seeing success at "their" club

Continuing my rant on plastic fans, have lived in Bournemouth for 12 years, went to school with a lot of Saints fans (Twats) but to be fair they have stuck with them through thick and thin. But the amount of people who say, my Grandad saw Old Trafford once, so that's why I support Man U, is unbelievable :jerkit: :slap:

I admire you for the effort you put in, but you could have a long wait for a home game

I do away games mainly, but that is because I prefer away games. It is not to take money away from my club as the more money we have coming in the less we have to sell players.

Anyone else feel sorry for the core Man City fans?
They're probably like us.
With the money, title winning season surely they must have 20% of the ground(and rising) of glory supporters from all over!
If Cov got taken over and turned into a Man City I'd hate the glory support.

In fact I'd hate to support any big club!

As long as you could always get a ticket you would love it. Did you go to the Chelsea game? Did you enjoy the atmosphere more than the average game? A full ground is much better than a half empty ground any time.

Any Cov fans that have never been to a game ?

Judging by some of the post match comments on here I would say quite a number of SBT members appear to have never been to a game.

It is not possible that anyone never going to any match can be classed as a supporter. The word supporter means to provide for. I provide money for my family to live on, so i am there supporter. I also pay a hell of a lot of money into the sky blues and thus am a supporter. Anyone never going to any games is not a supporter. In the same context i do not regard any view of such people as relevant :jerkit:. On the other hand to all the far travelling supporters who sacrifice time, effort and money into our club, i salute you all:claping hands::claping hands::claping hands::claping hands:

No, normal Man City fans are small minded & bitter. They have shown zero humility since the Arabs took over. Proper Utd fans are sound in my experience.

Honest answer to that Chelsea game? No. I hated it. Full of people who had no idea about Cov, kids in Chelsea tops and women screaming when Lampard got the ball.
Full of the same pricks that turned up at Highfield road when man utd were in town and the bellends that went to old Trafford in the cup when we won 2 nil.

Don't get me wrong, I want us to be successful, but not overnight. Glory supporters are scum.

Support From Afar.

I haven't been to a City game since 1968-69. I think it was City vs West Brom at Highfield Rd, 4-2 to us if I remember correctly. Left England in 1969. Had to make do with M.O.T.D. & The Big Match.
Lately watched The Football League Show, just half an hour of highlights from 3 divisions. The only televised games I've seen since then (apart from the FA Cup Final of 1987) is Bristol City vs City last season & Southampton vs City.
My support has never wavered, born in the city then you support the City. Used to get the CET 'Pink' sent out to us before my Grandad came out and joined us here. I have a City shirt and I've just given my son his first City shirt, albeit the away shirt. PUSB.

I'm from Germany, but I've been to games.
I try to make it to 2-3 games a year.
Even been to HR back in the days.
But thumps up to everyone supporting City, regardless if it's from home or at the Ricoh.

They have won much more than us. They are watched by many more fans than us. How small is our club then?

Even ignoring the last few years, history shows that they are significantly bigger than us.

To be fair, saying they are not a big club doesn't mean he's saying they aren't bigger than us.
