" we were very organized and played with the effort that I expect from this football club. Webster was in inspired international form with strachan watching and wel done to the lads. That's the Coventry city I want to see every week."

After a 4-0 drubbing by yeovil town.

We won the first half 1-0 which was amazing (after losing 4-1)

"The manner of the way we pressed the ball was terrific ( standing off them all game allowing them to pass the ball around at will), I thought young Connor was superb in the centre of the park ( rash challenges everywhere) and Webster commanded the backline like the outstanding professional he is he is ( after gifting yet another goal away)
Madine worked his socks off ( stood around all game waiting for the ball)
This is the Coventry City we have come to expect at this football club, and we must thrive to perform at a high consistency - after 3.1 loss.

I suppose in many ways the actual match result doesn't matter !!

We dominated the game for the first 20 minutes, created a lot of chances and deserved to be ahead (after going 1-0 down after 5 minutes). In the second half we lacked quality in the final third and made poor decisions but I can't fault the lads commitment it was terrific. The second goal was a clear foul and we should have had a penalty (2-0 loss at FT) We know we must do better and we have to win these games.

“I’m numb after that, especially after the performance we gave in the first/second (delete as appropriate) minute when we were very positive in everything we did, created a lot of chances, and were very comfortable. The last/first 89 minutes' performance was just not acceptable and we’re now in a situation where we really need to pick ourselves up and understand the predicament we’re in.

We had three or four great moments on the counter but our choices were really poor and eventually we paid for it – and the first/last 89 minutes was unacceptable.

We have to have to have a better mentality than that; we have to play teams like this and draw 0-0. I’m devastated with the result and the reality is now that we’re sucked right down into the danger area and we need to react quickly.

I’ve been to the referee’s room to speak to them because it was never a throw in. You can see the ball change direction; when a linesman makes those kind of calls he’s got to be 100-per-cent sure and I can assure him he’s got it wrong.
We played Yeovil last year and were on the wrong end of several bad decisions and it was the same again today, but the disappointing thing for me is that we find ourselves in that situation.

The fans are extremely unhappy and I accept that – I wouldn’t expect anything else.
I accept the criticism that comes my way and I’ll continue to work hard to put things right. We have to turn the corner because that kind of performance is simply not good enough for this football club."

Yes we may have lost but we looked far better than them for the majority of the pre-match warm up, our subs did a much improved half-time kick about routine and Andy Webster really imposed himself as he walked out of the tunnel, both Fleck and Connor bounced and caught the ball it was terrific. I feel confident that I looked a lot smarter than Garry Johnson.

The application of the group was first-class.

As a group we need to stick together will be on there. The'll be no mention of tudgay and Miller being told they can leave and then included back in the squad though. Expect Webster to constantly give the ball away but when haynes does he will be balled out and Pressley will say he is pleased with his the experienced players are taking responsibility

Webster was a rock as my captain reda needs to learn not to lose his head and piss clearer.Tudgay is the best finisher in this league.

It's a blow that Reda could only play the first 10 minutes before he aggravated his injury. My approach to this game was to control the play by not having possession. Unfortunately that plan backfired when we accidentally got the ball and they scored. Both strikers ran themselves into the ground but it's not good enough that we had no shots on target again. We will be working on our shooting skills for the next game.

Dominated the game but didn't create enough in the final third. Couldn't fault the effort. A few key decisions didn't go our way today. Didn't deserve to lose...

'We might not had any shots on target, but we dominated over 50%of the time that the ball was in our half of the pitch so deserved at least three goals that would have given us a point'

I think he'll dream up another meaningless comment, like 'we need to work on our anticipation' or some such drivel.

I would like to thank the fans, the owners and everyone connected to the club for their support during my tenure, leaving is always difficult.
i feel I have left the club/squad in a much stronger position than the one I inherited !

I can't fault the application of the players. We passed the ball with real purpose and energy at times but our end product in the final third cost us but it is something we are determined to put right.

I quit I can no longer work for these pair of arse holes, I am bored with the easy time I get from the local press and the pointless questioning from the local radio.

'I never said Shaun Miller had no future at the club. Or Tudgay. Have you been on Mrs P's macaroni pies Clive?'

After a Miller-Tudgay brace holds Yeovil to a 3-2 victory.

We were terrific, outstanding and I'm really proud of the group. We played in the Coventry City way. We didn't deserve to lose 4-0. I'm so angry I cannot sleep just now.
