Do we have the lowest wage structure in the league? One of them possibly, but the lowest? You seem to have it as fact that we do though.
Turn it around on it's head again(until it's really dizzy), how successful have we been with high profile players, a high wage structure(in the not too distant past one of the highest in the league), and umpteen loan signings?
You can't answer my question though can you? I am asking you what you expect as you seem to profess a view if how things could be better. My question - and I ask you again, or anyone else for that matter - what is your expectation level given the ties on the operational side of the club.
I think Thorn does have his problems; of course, but equally think that he's been given such a difficult hand that any manager would struggle.
As for the wage structure, it's a comment I heard Hoffman say in interview. Moreover look at facts.. Barnsley sigh Danny Drinkwater, and Thorn states we cannot compete on wages with clubs with 'higher budgets', Doncaster have a range of players whom Saunders has explained he can get his chairman to bankroll in the short term - so this and McKay's influence sees players there we can only dream of, and last night Henderson scores freely against us (yet again) - the sort of player we simply cannot even afford to consider. This indicates Barnsley, Doncaster and Milwall are all operating at a different level to us. This appears to bear out Hoffman's claim. Moreover, by means of further proof, we have signed less players than any other team in the league. We are the only club not to have a single loan player.
We have a level of success proportional to the level of investment in, and moral of a beleaguered playing staff. Again, what more do you expect?
Some posters actually think this squad is should be somewhere between 12-16th.
Me I always expected bottom 4, hence why I am not outraged by our position.
This Ian creature would condemn CCFC despite whatever they achieved - CCFC need all our support right now not this moronic twaddle from this retard - Ian go forth and multiply please

Just read this on the BBC Sports site from Andy Thorn I'm sick of hearing excuses and people having opinions that aren't right, I know what's right and the players will do what we say or they won't be playing. Wholesale changes on Saturday then.... http://bbc.in/rGzF0X
So basically he's saying the players are not listening to him? Speaks volumes that
How many time did we also hear Boothroyd, Coleman, Dowie, Adams, etc say the same thing - that players were not following the instructions and coaching they had been given.
Exactly cant you see the trend? Once the manager loses the dressing room, its hard to get it back. Nowadays thats the problem, players have too much power.
To me it sounds as if Thorn is determined to put things right, we played well first half and could have been winning.
Expecting a few changes for Saturday with Cameron, Mcpake, Baker, Mcsheffrey dropping back to the bench with Christie, Hussey (if fit), Thomas and Bell coming in.
No point in changing manager now, I don't see who we could attract/afford who could do a better job.

Could we though? BBC is reporting that we had one shot on target in the entire 90 minutes.
