We have turned down the chance to let him train with us.
So basically he hasn't got a club and has touted himself around, then city and no doubt others have said "no thanks".

Mowbray has said before he doesn't like having players training with us or on trial as it disrupts things so he's not going to put up with that for someone he has no interest in signing.strange we're not even going to offer him a trial though??
If Wellens likes him that much why doesn't he get him to go to his club.
If Shrewsbury lose and we win at the weekend we'll go above them on goal difference so I don't know why he's making out we need him. In a couple of games his team might need him a lot more than we do.

That only makes me take him less seriously. Surely if he believes that he's that good he'd be recommending him for his old club and be grateful that we turned down the offer leaving him available.

He turned down a contract offer at Oldham in the summer after playing for them last season. Obviously thought he could do better but no one wants him.
