I think it's fair to say that with the exception of RFC we would all like to see our club return to the Ricoh if only on a temporary basis while sisu do whatever it is they're doing.
So here's my idea.
All the supporter's and protest groups come together and release a joint statement, stating that we the fans want our club home and we Iinvite ACL to propose a fresh rental offer to include match day revenues through the FL, we invite SISU to also make a rental offer to include match day revenue through the FL and that we invite the FL assist in encouraging both parties to do this and then mediate.
I think the biggest problem is we have that many factions there has never been a coherent message. If all the groups come together for one statement on the one point everyone seems to agree on then that would overcome that hurdle.
Michael has 18000+ names on an epetition, the trust has thousands of members, Rob S is running a high profile election campaign and there is no denying that Rob is clearly connected in the media world and then there are all the other supporter groups.
I really believe that a joint statement will send a clear message that we want our club in its rightful place and their is no denying that playing in Northampton is decimating not only our finances but also our fan base. So we accept that the club can and should return to the Ricoh for the start of next season if only on a short term deal and this statement wouldn't be about what ACL or SISU want or what the FL won't do, it would be about what we want and what we expect all parties to do.
So please Rob, Michael, Jan, Steve and anyone else who fronts a fans and/or protest group please come together and do this for the fans you represent.
