Three people have been arrested after a man was attacked and left with serious injuries in Coventry. Police were initially called to reports of a stabbing in Stretton Avenue, Willenhall, shortly before 9pm last night. However, they found that although the 44-year-old man had not been stabbed, he had suffered severe facial injuries after being assaulted. He was taken to hospital where he today remains in a serious but not life-threatening condition. West Midlands Police say officers have arrested three men - aged 44, 37 and 36 - on suspicion of wounding and remain in police custody this morning. Click to expand...
