Already a thread on it further down the page, Mowbray said he won't be involved in the first team but they want to take a look at him in some U21 matches.

We need one or two defenders now. The back five is unconvincing as a unit and only Ricketts and Reda are definite starters. Both full back positions need to be improved IMO. Stokes is OK but if I were TM I would be looking at him to face more competition. TM will not rest on his laurels and allow any position to be held by just an OK standard of performance. He may sign another centre half and move Reda there before long.

I reckon Ricketts will start at full back again, Martin done well against Burton and Ricketts is a more steady performer than Phillips in the full back area

Another keeper and a defender and they might as well give us the title now

Can't see a perm coming in now unless some free agent will come and work for peanuts. I can see and understand if it is not the Newcastle kid who is a winger. It was probably him OR Kent, not both.
Really surprised that people write off Stokes who I thought was possibly MOM against Burton and would think TM is happy with his attitude and commitment. We have, on paper, a good forward line and midfield but as a few people said the right back position is a concern. We have Ricketts but this is not his position and he does acapable job wherever he plays.
Another interesting thing is the way that TM brings these loanee kids down for a weeks trial to see if they fit in. I did see one lad on the Kent video who I don't know so the new loanee could be him.

I believe this loan player coming in is a month trial with a view to permenant deal, clever way of doing things when you think of it in this cash strapped times budget wise, let's remember. Mowbray is building a team for promotion and a squad for next season part of his 2 year plan I think we will see more of this practice in the future

Isn't the one on Monday just for him to have a look at and will be in the under 21s?
