Is being released by Norwich. Worth a look?

Don't think he'd wanna be second choice to Dovin imo. But I have always rated him. Think we'll get a loan in until Dovin is back.

Did he turn down a contract or didn't they offer one?

Just makes you wonder if he turned them down because he has something lined up.

Decent keeper but I think he will want to go somewhere to be first choice, which almost certainly he won’t be once Dovin is fit.

Someone put something up on another thread and statistically he's been the 2nd worse keeper in the division which surprised me

Fuck off, I'm not having that, we've easily got the worst 2 keepers in the division.

Dovin won't be back until January probably, and who's to say he'll be as good as he was?? Gunn on a season long contract with a clause to drop to No 2 if Dovin recovers well.
we might need a new keeper in the Prem tho

His dad, Bryan, was a good keeper for Norwich during the 80's

And his great grandad, Bren, was popular during the early to mid 40's.

I cant see any keeper signing that contract let alone Scotlands potential number 1.

Daniel Iversen’s contract is up at Lesta, I remember him being pretty decent for various teams in this league.

I think we're at that point where almost any vaguely competent keeper available on a free suddenly looks like a mouth watering prospect.

Fraser Forster also probably leaving Spurs in the summer. Even though it goes against my rule of not signing alliterative players

Point being an international goalkeeper isnt going to agree to be a number 2 before a world cup

I get your point, but any keeper coming in will be ahead of Dovin for obvious reasons, and if he plays well he keeps the shirt when Dovin is fit.

The idea that someone would come here as a no2 is rediculous (as you correctly pointed out)

The original argument tho was we should put in a clause that he is number 2 behind Dovin when he is fit. That is frankly ridiculous

With Dovin out till at least December anyone who comes in should at least be competing for the number one shirt even when Dovin is fit to come back.

An experienced keeper like Gunn would be good for our young defence and would help mentor Dovin and Bell.

Not as good as Dovin. If he's happy to be number one till Dovin is back and then sit on the bench that's fine, but he'd be a expensive backup!

We need a proper first choice keeper, not just somebody who’ll do until dovins back, and if we go up we‘ll need a brick wall in goal , get a First choice keeper and dovin as back up until he gets the chance to come back in

Posted it previously but for this season, Opta stats has him at the 2nd worst for Goals Prevented at -4.1. There is only one keeper with a worser rate at -4.6.... Brad Collins.

Apparently according to Nixon we did but backed out due to the price tag.

Should get a loan to challenge Wilson while Dovin is out.

We all know Dovin is the no.1 of the future, so not worth spending big money or wages on the new guy.

Josh Keeley been on loan at Orient in L1 from Tottenham. 16 clean sheets in 35 games. 4th in save percentage. Take him for a year.

He wasn’t a free transfer. Sheff Utd paid £2.3 million for him.
