To be fair though this could change at any time if Doncaster bring in a striker. Or maybe he wants to leave.I am always skeptical when I see the words "the Telegraph understands" that being said if/had Williams of been on CCFC's radar it would've been a very good signing.
From what I have read however, Williams wasn't wanted at Donny in May and has since gone back to Donny this pre-season with a point prove and has been given a second chance, so any potential deal I would imagine is as good as dead in the water.
A totally pointless and irrelevant "exclusive" from Coventry's local rag.

If DF was intent on shipping him out he would have done so when an apparent offer was on the table, to me it looks like Williams was given a warning/ultimatum by DF and has come back intent on making the most of his second chance.
He scored against us at the Ricoh the other year. Would be a good signing at this level, but all these signings are just to good to be true.
