Just heard on Talksport from Bobby Gould that Andy Thorn has suffered a heart attack. Get well soon Andy.....

Wish him a speedy recovery.

Despite his short comings in management, it's only a game after all.

Best of luck AT

TBF, always looked like he was close to having one here, but didn't give in!

Wishing him a speedy recovery!

Yep, when I saw him face to face when he was here he was sweating profusely, was rather overweight and didn't look at all healthy.

Wish him well and hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

He may have made a hash of management but was a decent guy with his heart in the right place (excuse the pun) Hope he makes a full recovery.

One of my favourite memories in recent years supporting Coventry was the Leeds away game. 250 of us singing Andy Thorn's Sky Blue Army and were rewarded with a Richard Wood equaliser in the last minute. Incredible scenes.

I honestly find some people completely weird on this site, people I would never want to meet. The poor guy has had a heart attack! Even if the wishes are well why does it have to be accompanied with an opinion on his management? What relevance does that have? ''Didn't rate him as a manager but get well soon'' unbelievable - these comments add no value ... Start a new thread or revisit an old one if you have comments on his management from 3 years ago. Not the place for me.

Don't think you understand human nature very well I'm afraid.

News announcement: Kurt Cobain found dead. Typical comment: 'I didn't like his music much, but sad news.'

News announcement: 'Charles Kennedy dies at the age of 55. Typical comment. 'I didn't agree with his politics, but very sad to hear the news.'

News announcement: 'Princess Diana dies in tragic car accident. Typical comment: 'I really don't care for the royal family at all, but that's a shock to hear.'

News announcement: Jimmy Greaves suffers severe stroke. Typical comment. 'I don't like him as a bloke too much, but what a great footballer and I hope he gets better soon.'

News announcement: Michael Schumacher in coma following skiing accident. Typical comment. 'I don't like motor racing at all, but I wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery

This is exactly how people talk. It's happened since the year dot and I'm surprised you have taken such umbridge with it to be honest.

Yeah, get well soon Andy. Apologies for being so preachy but after a wake up call like this I'd hope he can change his ways & live a healthier life.

Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery. A few lifestyle changes will help you. I've had a massive heart attack and had two assessments for a heart transplant. Thankfully don't need one .... Yet. Yep you can recover mate and take it easy. PUSB

Get well soon Andy. Likeable guy, good scout, not a great manager. Things may have worked out differently if he'd have kept hold of King or been able to replace Juke... But probably not. Hopefully working with SISU wasn't a contributing factor to the heart attack!

Isn't he back scouting again at West Brom?

Hopefully. Sometimes a mild scare can be a positive in that regard, fingers crossed that'll be the case here.
