At least the new manager has a week to get in his own players but If shaw is appointed could he be like terry connor but I think he will do well if appointed

I guess we're looking at Shaw/Carsley/both in charge now.

I don't want Shaw, rather have Carsley if it's a choice of them too. This decision Waggot has now is massive. Lets hope we bring in the right man.

Wrong decision.

1) 3 games in. Unbeaten as far.
2) He has put together his own team.
3) WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO MANAGE US.

Every managerial vacancy sees plenty of applicants, no matter how unfashionable the team.

There will be at least 20 applications by tonight. Fishers phone will not stop ringing.

It's the right decision - 12 months too late.

I think it's harsh, but then football is harsh. He could have been given longer but I can see they wanted to nip it in the bud.

Somebody is an idiot for not agreeing with you? People have been saying for months he is tactically not very good.

:guitar2::guitar2::guitar2::guitar2::guitar2::guitar2:

Might be worth getting a manager in that actually knows something about tactics (and how to change them, when the situation arises!!! Like yesterday!!)

I'm going to Taybarns in Walsgrave in an hour, do you reckon Thorn will be there? ointlaugh:

Never praised or slagged off Thorn, but yesterday I was fuming and was just left with two question after the game, How? and Why?

There ll be 10 -20 applicants for the job at least.
Lets hope for an experienced manager at this level, not Shaw or Carsley whom I both like but are nt experienced.

Nobody is an idiot for not liking him, for what its worth i think getting rid may have been the right call, just frustrated like others that every thread regardless of subject became hijacked by people slagging him off

Wrong decision.

1) 3 games in. Unbeaten as far. - let leads slip every time though - and no different from last season
2) He has put together his own team. - they aren't a bad lot, the new guy can still use the free/loan market
3) WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO MANAGE US. - any manager out of the job with a point to prove; or any lower league manager who wants to push on their own career

I feel slightly bad for him, the players he's brought in are class enough but, as long as we bring in a proper manager and not just Shaw/Carsley, I think it's the right decision.

Mick Mccarthy would be a dream come true, but he has got a new plush job on MOTD so doubt he would ever consider us.

I don't think Gary Johnson would want to leave Yeovil, got an interesting project at Yeovil and I think they will have a decent season.
