Let's hope his experience against England and then getting dropped doesn't knock Jay's confidence.

He wasn't brought on when Davies went off though. I thought he had a share of the responsibility for England's 1st, being beaten far too easily and then he was responsible for the 2nd. He did pick it up in the second half but he got outclassed really.

He didn’t actually do much wrong against England considering who he was marking

He was nowhere near the ball for England's first was he?

For the second, probably every Wales player in that box could've done better.

Yeah. Fools. He’s more prime Roberto Carlos…without the shooting.

He had a bit of a go at Sorba Thomas last night for not tracking back.
Again looked alright but not on for long enough. I think Bellamy got their tactics wrong yesterday.

Wales online gave him 4/10 for the England match

"A hapless bystander at times. Cut to ribbons by Gordon and Saka."

Anyway, I hope it's not affected him whatever anyone else thinks of the performance.

He was definitely ripped to shreds at times, certainly in the first half, but he was up against Saka so realistically he was always going to be in for a torrid evening.

FWIW I thought Neco Williams didn't have much of better showing on the right hand side and he's a regular PL starter.

Frustrating for him for sure, but I very much doubt it would bother him in the long run though.

Dasilva will not be starting regularly for us if we are a Premier League side next season so its really not a worry. We need him to be good at Champ level and so far this season you have to say he's much improved and doing well.

I imagine that he hoped that he would have a better game! Some players don't respond well to being dropped after having a mare, he might be a bit deflated...

Do you think England will play the same 11 tonight as they did versus Wales?

I knew as soon as he played the full 90 he would be on the bench for the next game

Anyway the first England was the one where a Williams, Davies and Darlow tried to let the ball go and Guehi picked their pockets and rolled to Rogers for a tap in. JDS did nothing wrong there.

2nd was caused by the Welsh CBs failing to clear a 2nd ball from a corner

The 3rd was Saka making Brooks look a bit foolish before bending a worldie in.

What goal was JDS fault?

Broadhead replaced Davies because they wanted to bring a forward on for a defender while losing

No Championship full back would have stood up to players of that quality. He will be better for the experience regardless.

Whoever he faces Saturday isn't gonna be as good as saka or doku so I think he will be fine and continue his good form

To be fair if he keeps up this rate of improvement then he will probably be the best left back in the world this time next year.
