Exactly. He simplifies one of the most complex biological questions and pretends it’s settled when it really isn’t.

The best interviews of the excellent Andrew Neil are his wilful destruction of Ken Livingstone many times over.

The other classic on This Week when Dianne Abbott justifies Chairman Mao slaughtering 50 million people as “a few skulls needed to be cracked” - even her best pal and old school chum Portillo had nowhere to go on that one.

It's a difficult debate that ultimately is already settled within law in England Wales and Scotland (not sure about NI) I believe their is a point of pregnancy where you could question the morals of a person wanting the abortion, but ultimately it's their choice.

Love watching Andrew Neil. In a time of anti-intellectualism on TV, he is of those rare political interviewers who knows the British (and US) constitution inside out, does not let politicians off the hook for unsubstantiated statements and has an amazing memory for events and political history. I've also found him to be equally forensic to whatever political persuasion. Thank goodness there are still a few experts out there.
