He hasn't had an offer in writing and wants one but his agent has started looking at other options has direct quotes from him. etc Apparently a contract is expected before the end of this week from city so could just be to hurry them up.

I think this is par for the course for all agencies, its a bargaining tool to take the his current club

Does anyone else think it is anything other than nailed on that he will leave?? We can't offer him big money and we can't offer him big signings to play alongside. He would need his head examining at his stage of career

This is a non story. The club have already stated that they want to get the position of manager sorted out before they deal with player contracts.

King should be looking for a new agent if his agent hadn't been looking for a new club. Talk about stating the obvious here guys. Did anyone who pays the slightest bit of interest in the club not think that King was loking for a new employer? God if I knew I was out of a job in nine weeks (not 11 days) then I'd be looking.

Rich I think its 9 days now lol.
Though he will effectively finish after our last game and that will probably be the last opportunity for Thorn to work on him staying.
Or Rich do you think he will be in for training every week day over the next nine weeks ?

Do the team get the summer off? If so then there won't be any training for him to go to.

As for 9 days, correct me if I'm wrong but he has a contract that runs for 9 more weeks, he will be drawing a wage from the SISU coffers for 9 weeks. This to me means that he will be employed for 9 weeks.

I also think that he would attend training if there is any to keep fitness levels up.

Exactly. If you're nearly in May and an agent isn't constantly doing all he can to get his client securely employed somewhere for at least the following season, what is he being paid for?

What is he being payed for? Surely a player can do his own Business, just like Owen did.

Yes they do, hence why he's looking for a new club. Such an amazing piece of non news from the Telegraph yet again.

King

Hello guys.

Vital that Marlon King is given a new deal if we are to consider ourselves a club on the
up, by far our classiest player by a street, not forgetting Westwood of cause.

Regards tankie

Welcome Tankie. I agree about Marlon, but as far as Keepers. I think there are plenty around that could replace Westwood.
