As good an option as any I would say. Give him a go

agreed, why not but give him a fair chance rather than selling players from under his feet!

Good News, Hopefully there will be a statement before the Reading game confirming he's been given the job

Is this from the CT?

I wonder if he will get 10 million to spend like Sven

AT has earned his spurs in his short management career and has been lauded for his entertaining style of play, the fans rate him, the players are behind him and his managerial peers are complemementary. Job done give it to Andy we cry BUT IT WONT HAPPEN. It is too logical, too popular and too much common sense - these things dont happen at CCFC !!!

There's just a very vague bit in the CT which kinda contradicts their previous days "Thorn not offered job after Dulieu meeting!" angle.
What it looks like is that one of their contacts has tipped them off that it's "likely" or at lest "50/50"; but they don't have enough hard evidence to print it as a definite goer, and perhaps are not 100% confident in the sources' info.

If it's true, it is fantastic news! Just look at the alternatives we've been linked with...Peter Reid is better than some of them!

1 year rolling contract is the sensible option (which is probably a first for SISU). AT's not experienced enough to demand anything more than a one-year, but has done enough to be given the chance.

Hopefully AT will kick on again for us next season, but I'd bet money that SISU will be tapping up the 'big names' readying them for the minute he loses more than a couple on the bounce.

SISU are the best thing since sliced bread. I love SISU, I love SISU....... I'm so fickle.

Could we now be the new crazy gang?
The way the players are playing for each other, enjoying what they are doing, and all of them fully behind the manager as they are saying they are maybe we are.
Would this encourage Marlon,Westwood and Gunner to sign new deals and knowing this could be the start of something special, like Wimbeldon were all those years ago the underdogs achieving amazing things.
