I read this on CovMad about our new starlet Bigirigamana........ Eastwood could learn from him

http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/bigirimanas_long_road_to_success_699146/index.shtml

Sounds like a decent lad with real desire and commitment. Wish him lots of success

Quite true, OSB, Eastwood could indeed learn from him. But does he want to?

I can be insulted you know wingy !!!!! the idea of being thought of as KD is not at all appealing..... not a happy image at all.

What a cool story. His enthusiasm is there for all to see on the pitch. He is going places this lad and lets hope we keep him for a while....

Gael has a fantastic attitude, great to watch play and you can see he really loves football. I hope we keep him for aslong as possible as he's going to be fantastic given a bit of time

He has been the shining light in what has started as a season of doom and gloom, it can only get better!

Heard a great story about Bigirimana from a guy at work.

Over the summer my mate was playing in a church 5-a-side tourney. They were 2-0 up against a team when the young lad in goal came out to play outfield. They lost 4-2 after being torn apart by this 17 year old with funny hair. Turns out it was Bigirimana.

Slightly worrying that he's allowed to play 5-a-side but still.

Also of note. My iPhone now autocorrects Bigirimana when I type bigi

Yes OSB58 young Gael is like an old throwback from my era (yes I am an old git) where players fell in love with the game and not the paycheck.

This resulted in huge numbers of potential young players vieing for placement at any club as part of their venture into the beutiful game.

It is a joy to watch Gael play with boundless energy. commitment and huge chunks of skill which sticks out like a country mile and as he is still only 17 can get infinitely better as his career progresses.

BUT obviously with such precocious talent the big boys will soon be sniffing round nad he may be gone by his 19th birthday - I hope not,

and as a contrast to eastwood

Whilst not rubbishing FE, it is however a huge bonus that we have someone who plays the beautiful game for the way it should be.
I have had the pleasure of watching GB so far this season, and he really does show what desire, passion, and love he has for the game.
Never lose it GB, the CCFC faithful will be with you.

From everything i've read and heard about him, he really does talk the talk about being in the game purely for the love of it. Hopefully means he'll be grounded for years to come and it also sounds like he'd want to repay the faith that the guys at the academy showed in him.

Makes a huge change from the 'i just want to get paid, don't care if i sit on the bench to do it' attitude that far too many of players have.
