I may regret having made this come full time tomorrow, but so far, the stats don't lie. We have more of the ball in the opposition box than any other side, and are the most clinical side in the league by some distance too. Left to right is non-penalty goals minus xG, bottom to top is touches in opposition area.

Sheff Utd and Derby were the interesting parts of this for me aside from CCFC being way out in front. Sheff Utd nearly as many touches in the box as we have, but horrifically wasteful with their chances while Derby have fewer touches than anyone but really take their chances.

The question for me is whether that will be sustained for both sides. My gut feeling is that for us, even if we stop converting difficult chances, the sheer amount of time we spend in the opposition box will make up for it. Sheff Utd however may well rocket up the table if they sort their finishing...maybe Bamford will turn it around?
