An open letter from the fans to CCFC (1 Viewer)

With the ongoing lack of answers and positive news from the club, I had the idea of writing an open letter to CCFC, to be sent directly but simultaneously printed in the CT and through other media.

This would have the effect of raising the concerns of the fans in a non-aggressive fashion, putting questions directly to the club in a way that cannot really be ignored. This would include:

1) when will the rent be re-paid to ACL?
2) when will the club's accounts be filed with the FL?
3) following on from 2, when does the club expect the embargo to be lifted?
4) should we expect to see an influx of new signings?
5) will the club appoint a series "football" CEO with a remit to transform City's fortunes?
6) what guarantees will the owners make regarding the funding of the club?
7) will the club confirm the contractual status of Andy Thorn?
8) will the club re-inforce the backroom staff by the appointment of a chief scout, first team coach and fitness specialist?
9) does SISU expect to be in the club for the long-term? and
10) what positive, specific steps is SISU doing to bring in new investment?

I think this letter could be organised either via the Sky Blue Trust, or could be done via this forum and published. I am happy to organise. We may get a load of flannel from CCFC, as usual, but at least it is something we can try to achieve some clarity.

Thoughts on this, including potential questions for the letter?

i hate to dampen your spirits and hope the letter works, but too much has gone on in the past year or so, so I would go with Otis's one question letter

Fair point, can anyone think of a constructive and proactive measure the fans can take?

Perhaps a march from Coventry city centre to the Ricoh at the opening home game?

Would the letter get as far as any one with any kind of power within the club? Pretty sure they have people to reply that are professional at dodging questions and bullshitting. I think somebody should confront these individuals with a camera in the street and ask these questions on the spot before they get a chance to make excuses. Maybe then some truth will leak out .

Which they do very well it seems - shame they don't have the same attitude when it comes to hiring professionals to run the football club (no disrespect to AT but he is a scout not a coach!)

I tend to agree. But I support him as long as we are stuck in this situation.. Would be silly to bring in somebody else who won't be given the funds and support they need. If by some miracle we got major investment then I agree that we should bring in somebody else... even if its just to keep some sanity.

True - but I'd also like to ask SISU their take on WHY we don't have any money to spend? Is it anything to do with the catastrophic management of the club by...SISU?
