Travel cheaply by train from my home to Coventry City centre, indulge in a few decent well kept ales in a lively and friendly pub, take a nice quality lunch along the way, maybe Italian or just good English fayre. Take the new train to the Ricoh stop from town and arrive in a throng of people at a sell out crowd of 32,000 with a great carnival atmosphere, outside is a beerfest rugby style and away fans are happy to share a drink and chat amicably, easy transit into the arena with minimal queuing and friendly obliging stewards and police officers who treat you like peers or equals and predominantly want to help people with location of seats etc. A fantastic cacophany of noise from the crowd who have adorned the place with flags/banners and balloons and they are rewarded with another home victory and entertainment on the concourses afterwards from local bands/street theatre and celebrate with a quality beer served with a smile and is reasonably priced.............an equally smooth journey home on a train full of delighted Sky Blues!!..........................Is all this so ridiculously impossible to achieve?? One day?!

If it's an ideal situation, can we be back at Highfield Road? With terracing, affordable ticket prices and being able to have a beer with your mates whilst you watch Cov win 4-0

Okay. A typical day at CCFC/Coventry City.

No travel by train as there aren't any. Indulge in a few flat ales in a threatening and unfriendly pub.

Take a nice quality lunch along the way, maybe Italian fayre. Luckily enough in this instance there is a Pizza Hut right by the Ricoh.

Take the new non-existent train to the Ricoh stop from town and arrive into a throng of 14 people out of a crowd of 12,000 with a clown school atmosphere.

Outside is a beer can infested dump, Rugby area style and away fans are happy to share a drink of their meths and chat in an accent we can barely decipher.

Easy transit into the arena with minimal queuing as the ground is half-empty.

Unfriendly obese stewards and police officers who treat you like shite or equal to the rights of a dog and predominantly want to help people with location out of their seats and ejected into the car park. A fantastic cacophany of one kazoo from the crowd who have adorned the place with a flag that can go up in flames at any given moment.

The only ballooning is that of Freddy Eastwood's waistline and he rewards himself for not playing once again by entertaining himself and the casino afterwards as local bands/street theatre collaborations busk badly out of tune and do an experimental performance about wheat and it's affect upon the proletariat in 18th century Constantinople (and you only know that because they explain to you what it was all about afterwards when they see the puzzled expression on your face).

Yep, but I am beginning to think that Juke is a company man who totally backs the current board and was in fact deliberately aiming at a 'Sisu out' banner at the top row of the Telegraph Stand.

good posts from 'ashdown' & 'otis' but 'tommy atkins' preferred to inform us yesterday that the 'orange goons' are employed by ACL (not sisu) ?
and further they are there to stop any trouble ?
when the banter was rife no hint of trouble till mr policeman plod & orange u-tans waded in !
on who's instruction were/are they there to carry out their 'right wing' antics ?
why are the anti-sisu banners removed (ACL not sisu) ?
only a peaceful protest mind, no health & safety probs,
not like kicking a ball into the crowd @ h/t, that could be dangerous,
might be nice for the owners to explain ?
oops aerial bacon,

PUSB
