I got the e mail - surprised it's at the Butts. Bit of a farce we have to go to the local rugby club - shows more than anything we can't share with wasps for long. Imagine any other club having to do that when they have facilities at the ground they are in?

I agree it's embarrasing.
That's goes for the ticket office and club shop as well.
You are right, instead of focusing on hoping Wasps go broke. We really should just use the Ricoh a lot more for everything.

I will be going. Every time I hear TM speak, I am impressed, so it may be an interesting evening.

So with no major events on at the Ricoh either side of the 16th February Evening with TM (checked their site) no matches for either CCFC or Wasps on the 20th or 21st you would kind of assume that there was indeed space to carry such an event at the Arena. Where they could get more people in etc.

Whilst you could assume that Wasps said no or were being awkward........ it is more likely that (a) the Butts was cheaper (b)The club didn't want to pay out as much (C) is more central for fans to get to

Unfortunately I am away that evening. Would like to think the club or S B Trust might organise something at some point for the ordinary fan that doesn't cost £55 p h

I'd rather have the informal turn up to a pub events that SP did with the Trust.

I love football and I love Coventry City. But this sounds like it will be nerd central.

ha ha, etc etc. Piss taking aside he spoke very passionately about the Club and I think it was probably the best I've heard a manager of ours speak at one of those kind of events.

All this charging loads to hear TM speak is bollocks.

Loads of clubs are doing this, in fact people do it in general with z listers.

Can't say I'd want to pay or probably do it for free but some people will. I guess the cost goes towards the meal etc.

Sounds like a painful evening. And there was me thinking they called him 'Big Mickey Quinn' because of his waist size!

Think its a good idea myself. An event they can put on at very little cost / risk. The price isn't bad as this sort of thing goes. If i lived locally I'd certainly be up for it.

If it goes well I can see them doing more with ex-players.

All you've done there is leave me wondering what situation your poor grandma has been in to come up with those words of advice.
