I assume you were finding typing difficult while having your head firmly rammed up Nick Eastwoods arse.

Ok, back on topic. Why are Wasps "fit and proper" owners?

sorry Samo,
really not trying to suggest these muppets are YOUR favourite owners.
Or anybody else's.
With possible exception of Grendels

Just a loose term to describe what it's like to sit down with an organisation, enter into discussions, then deliver an agreement.
If only.

Can't wait to see the new stadium/academy set up. It's due for completion somewhere nearby really soon.

Well OK Nick. I'll admit to having my tongue firmly in my cheek. They are hardly likely to be anybody favourite owner.
Call it black humour.

Looks like the offer from wasps is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Nick, you deleted my 'c bomb' post. That was as close as I get to a gif gag.

Cheers. Mate.

Reply from Jayne Innes... make of it what you will;

Dear ...................,
Please accept my apologies for not responding until now.
I am as keen as any of my colleagues to see CCFC back to their best, if not even better than before.
I don't make the mistake of confusing SISU with CCFC.
The football club will always get a favourable hearing from the City Council while there is a Labour Administration, but that doesn't mean we will always be able to give them what they want. We can't make those kind of promises to anyone.
PUSB!
I hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Jayne

Another Astute but utterly dumb comment. Have you persuaded local businesses and politicians to build a new stadium and academy complex for free yet?

I think -

"The football club will always get a favourable hearing from the City Council while there is a Conservative Administration, but that doesn't mean we will always be able to give them what they want. We can't make those kind of promises to anyone."

The council is run by the officers, who are the same people no matter which party are 'in power', and Cllrs are just the face of the set up.
