Amongst the doom and gloom 2 new players arrive (1 Viewer)

There has been so much negative talk, due to our shit owners and players leaving (or preparing to leave i.e Clingan) that i'm quite looking forward to seeing how the 2 new players perform tomorrow? Anyone else feel the same or due to the current negativity surrounding the club 'we are already relegated' bollocks are most praying that they fail. Typical 'i told you so' scenario. Just interested in your thoughts ?

I cannot wait for tomorrow's game. There's nothing like waking up and realising it's match day. I'll need sedatives to sleep. Okay, perhaps stretching the truth with the latter....

Honest - can't wait to see them

Nice to see to fresh faces for a change.

Well one fresh face and one really craggy, wrinkly one.

I am feeling positive in the face of doom and gloom. I think that if we get a result tomorrow, the doom and gloom merchants might start to see the light. If Hreidarsson has a positive affect on the kids it can only be a good thing, I for one think that he is going to be a hit. It's not like Arjan De Zeeuw, this guy is someone who hopefully can make a positive impact. Who knows what Nimely is capable of. He has pace, which we really lack. Hreidarsson has presence, height and experience which we also lack. It would be great if one or two more follow and we don't lose any more as we are down to the nuts and bolts now. But 3 points tomorrow and the teams above us continue as they have been (getting beaten), there is hope yet. PUSB!

Well our two new signings seem to have convinced enough people that we have turned the corner and suddenly staying up is a real chance. Oh well who am I to go against popular opinion I ll buy it again. No excuses then tomorrow, no hard luck stories, no moaning about referees it's win or nothing if these brave predictions of a far improved second half of the season are to come to fruition

Don't be silly. We will be awesome. We will dominate possession (even though the stats will say otherwise) Tony mowbrey will say we are the best football team he has played against all year, thorn will be canonised, oh and we will lose. But the result means nothing it's the losing well that counts.

An old man and unproven player who has never scored as a replacement for our top goalscorer in already thin and poor squad., Yes I'm so excited I will hardly sleep a wink tonight.

Goodness me we are now excited about a few crumbs being thrown our way? How low we have sunk...and that's the shame of it.

Im really looking forward to driving up to the Ricoh. Paying a fiver to park, Then walking in the wind and rain to watch yet more poor football in a dire atmosphere. I hope im proved wrong but i feel were going to beat quite heavily today.

Good post - I support my club "warts and all", and I am 100% behind the team. I read and hear good and exciting things about Nimley and so really looking forward to seeing him and hope the lad starts with a bang. As for Hreiderson, you know what you get and we do need an experienced head at the back to show some leadership. 2 good signings. Tough game today to blood them both in - Boro are very strong. I do fancy a draw though (1-1).

A draw is no good. Home wins will see us safe

I'm looking forward to a bit of pace upfront and hopefully more solidity and composure at the back from HH.

It is very unusual for a team in our position to lose so many games so narrowly. Our lack of pace has really cost us this season but it's a rare commodity in this division and i'm hoping it can make a difference.

I'm also wondering where this other loan signing up front is. SISU have screwed us over, the b*stards - but the manager and players are doing their best to stay up regardless and I think we should get behind them.

I would play Platt upfront with Nimley and McSheff just playing either side of him. Flick ons and run into goal :claping hands:

Yes - the walk up the Ricoh won't be much fun today. My dad is driving so no paying for parking for me (although i predict i will be paying for the pre-match drink...'s - come to think of it i think i have ended up losing out in this arrangement.......parents hey) but at least there is something a bit "different" to watch with the new signings (good or bad, we'll soon find out) . With the wind it will hopefully promote football to be played on the floor. Does anyone know if this is how Middlesborough play or are they more long ball specialists ?
