Is it going to be us?

Every season there is a team that flies out of the blocks, then plummets after 20 games into a scrap.

Hull 2 seasons ago top 6 at xmas. Relegated

Bristol City and Blackburn last season. Play offs until xmas, ended up below us

Thoughts?

Think we could have been in trouble if the bottom 3 weren't so bad/Derby hadn't had the deduction. 40 points will probably be enough to stay up

I agree. If it weren't for Barnsley being utter wank and Derbys deduction we would be in shit.

Barnsley have only been relegated from this league once since dinosaurs were around and have a brilliant recruitment team. They are perfect

Yea. Decent against us until the 3 goal flurry, and with players like Grant, Dembele and Szmodics they have some talent.

Remind me of us last year. Carried on playing the way they did in L1 but it doesnt work when trying to stay in the championship. They'll learn

Thought Dembele was out long term? Huddersfield who were fucking awful against us have won more in 3 games than we have in 12. Just raise the general tempo and fucking shoot

There’s pessimism and then there’s pessimism. Peterborough have got 19 points through half of the season. If they match that again they’d get 38. We need four points from 23 to match that total.

Yes, things aren’t rosy at the moment. We’re on poor form. Blues & Millwall very disappointing. That said Sheff U & Huddersfield were both high level performances. It’s not like we’ve fallen completely off a cliff. You would get insane odds on us going down and you’re making it sound like it’s a close call.

We win two games and people think we’d give Man City a run for their money, lose two and we’re as bad as Oldham. People need to be slightly less irrational.

We will be comfortably upper mid table, considerably better than last season, but not troubling the play off places.
I think we will learn a lot from this season, and we will re shape the squad for a play off push next season.

It will be West Brom and Fulham and Bournemouth and Huddersfield and Blackburn and Notts Forest and the other 17 teams in the league….meaning fire up the bus as we aren’t getting a taxi for Robins because we most definitely are going up…….
