Based on whose who have played matches be it first team or u21 recent I reckon we could have played this outfield ten today which could be argued is a better team

Clarke edge Malaga Stewart
Bell Thomas Barton fleck
Ball McDonald

That midfield looks decent for a start

Switch Ball for Leon, ban the long ball. Then we would never lose the ball with that team

Totally agree. Barton and Fleck?

Totally outmuscled and totally steamrollered.

Bell, Thomas, Barton and Fleck and not a tackler or bit of strength amongst any of them.

Ha, what? That midfield would get totally dominated by the majority of teams in world football.

You never know till you give it a chance.

Very technically gifted players.

You would have to turn Thomas into an out and out no nonsense defensive midfielder

I agree they are all technically pretty good, I wouldn't fancy throwing them all in at once though.

why not, hopefully they can control the ball better than those yesterday,
having been on the pitch yesterday it was very firm and the ball would bounce about a lot, needs to be watered before each game.
at least it looked flat

We certainly need to make some changes, starting with Thomas, Edge and Bell coming in for Jennings, Cameron and Mcsheffrey.
