Sisters of Mercy did some great live covers back in the day. Jolene, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Emma, 1969, Knocking on Heavens Door, Gimme Shelter to name a few.
The Mission carried it on with stuff like Wishing Well, Dancing Barefoot, Like a Hurricane.
Bauhaus do great covers of Ziggy Stardust & Telegram Sam.
Can't believe this fucker is almost 20 years old either!

That's s good arrangement.
I have no idea on the lyrics from this song ,but I've never really been attracted to it beyond thinking it was done well .
It just sounds like a Portent of Doom to me.
