I've been a Sky Blue fan for the last 30 years and attended many many games at Highfield Road over the years including the last ever one against Derby. I went to the first game against QPR at the Ricoh which was amazing.

I haven't managed to get to a game now for the last two seasons due to the cost and distance involved in traveling up from Cornwall. I don't have a ticket stub from the Birmingham game.

Can anybody please explain to me why I'm “a lesser fan” and don't deserve to have a ticket because I'm jumping on the glory bandwagon?

Londons a long way for you. Why does that game attract you so much?

It's always the way it goes season tickets first. You have to get some perks for saying loads of money up front to watch them play. I am personally looking forward to the row that's going to happen when we get to the play off final

And the answer is the opponents are a big team isn't that a definition of someone joining a bandwagon?

But surly if you were a real fan you would pay full price tickets every match day to help the clubs funds rather than go for a discounted rate over a season?

It's what cov fans do best. What they should do is make you buy a Burton ticket and one other match

Oh FFS! Who gives a shit if you go to 46 games a season or 1 game a season, if you get hold of a ticket and buy it, then you can come! The more the merrier!

We need all the support we can get!

This goes to people harping on about people not been 'proper fans', as well as people moaning about the people moaning about people not been 'proper fans'!

Get a grip!!!!

I had a season ticket for about 18 years, then my son was born 2 years ago and I had to stop going due to the cost involved and needing the money to pay for things for him. I have managed to pick and choose matches over the past couple of seasons. I take it this is one game that I am not allowed to pick then due to other 'fans' opinions?

Wouldn't a real fan pay up front at a slight discounted rate to give the club the best chance at the start of the season by giving them a lump sum. I'm getting a ticket, so I don't have much concern for the bandwagon lot.

I have read a fair bit here and there since the Cup draw and there is a hint of truth in this matter. I am not particularly bothered what fans do and dont do but as a season ticket holder nearlyh my whole life, there are MANY MANY fans who refuse to go to games week in week out, then come a game like this pretend they are fans and turn out.

It is completely different if you now reside away from Coventry but I am referring to the bunch of so called fans who only turn out fot the 'attractive games'.

Didn't know the club now get money when the fans use the facilities at the Ricoh? Can you show me the thread I'd love to read about it?

It's 2012 and I think the Online club shop has been going for a good few years

It would be much better if only allow platinum loyalty fans a ticket. The players will much prefer that even if it means less people cheering them on.

Personally I don t give a fuck. Saving my money for the league

To be honest cant see many Arsenal fans wanting to spend £40 + to see us so think we may get as many tickets as we want. I cant go I am on a course in York that night gutted. But think with Arsenals kids playing we may got a good hammering anyway

So fed up with all this shit, the club has rules the same as any other club. They are in place to give favour to those who SUPPORT the club week in week out. You all know this ticket criteria before the season, most choose not to go, for one reason or another. You aint so keen when the team are doing poorly, infact most would not pay to watch any City game if it was on TV. One thing is for certain none of you part time supporters deserve any special favours with the exeption of the long distance (living abroad or long distance comuting fans, of which there are a fair few and i salute you). The rest of you stop whinging, if you get a ticket you get a ticket, if you dont then you know what to do in the future, buy some form of ticket package. They offer good deals all season including paying in instalments. No excuses

I aint go no arse on, i dont care who gets tickets, not bothered i have three season tickets mate , me, son and dad. I will be getting three tickets even if the my lad and dad dont go. Be nice to get two tickets each, that will be six tickets, why should i get an arse on. You see i get that priviledge for giving the club nearly a grand in advance, good or as usual bad. Just goes to show it does have its advantages. If your not happy tough, go to some games. Infact this season i feel we may sell out all away games so unless you lot have got a season ticket you will have to listen to the radio, and then phone in with your views on the game
