FFS 56 for 10 wickets. We were favourites at one point

Silverwood needs to make sure his cv is up to date.

embarrassing end to a humiliating series.
Problem is it's still mainly a side that could do well in English conditions and so summer success could paper over the cracks.
So many things need putting in place to make long-term changes - red ball calendar, county championship wickets, making sure International players are getting some red ball cricket between Test series, psychology and maybe captaincy (though not sure what the alternatives are).

Thank fuck that's over.

England's best player was the weather in the fourth test letting us avoid a whitewash.

I can’t believe that I actually thought my £20 at 4/1 was a good bet before it started.

England will come back pick up the dukes ball and they will start winning, I think the summer will be the retirement of Anderson and maybe Broad.

Don't think NZ will mind the conditions. SA who knows what side turns up.

The focusing everything on white ball cricket really looks to be paying off.

Englands performance in 120 ball cricket has gone rapidly downhill since the introduction of 100 ball cricket

Need to reduce it to 'The One', and get Paddy McGuinness to umpire

Been some great games. England in the semis next Tuesday, 1pm start.

Sky have been putting all the games up on YouTube live except the England games sadly. Can't imagine there's a huge number of people taking out subscriptions to watch England U19s.

Bethell’s innings against South Africa was a bit special that lad is a massive talent.

We "spotted" him last year for the Bears
Think it is so important for the counties to carry on the trend of blooding young players in this season's domestic cricket. ECB should consider a bonus scheme for counties playing young English-qualified players - like the Football League did a few years back

Heading for an exciting finish in the U19s World Cup semi. Afghanistan need 43 from the last 4 overs left. 4 wickets left. Fingers crossed England make it to the final.

Enjoyed the U19 game. Thought they had blown it.
Maybe most impressive thing was the captain giving the leggy the 2nd to last over when it looked like the game could be getting away again. Took some guts and it paid off big time.
Downside even at this level struggle against spin.

Warwickshire brought him over to England from Barbados when he was about 12 or 13 and sorted him a scholarship at Rugby school. Played a few games for my club and is still registered for us so hoping we get him for a couple of games this season. He is an unbelievable cricketer

I'm watching the women's Ashes ODI and I'm not sure who the commentator is exactly, but how dumb is this comment.

So, Kate Cross runs in and clean bowls Meg Lanning and the commentator says "Oh, and she bowled her and I think Lanning may have to go there."

May have to go? I do like women's cricket, but some of the commentary is awful. There will be an absolute dolly of a catch, straight to the fielder and lobbed up in the air and they will say what an absolute fabulous catch etc.

WTF!
