The hundred was not needed they should have just made improvements to the t20 which was very successful when launched when they played less games.

The county championship games are played at the wrong time of the season for the players to learn not many spinners are going to have success when it’s that cold players are wearing bobble hats.

We chose to condense that calendar further still with a competition with stupid kits and team names.

Also the "best" chunk of the summer months had no domestic redball cricket. Last season players called up to the Test side had had no redball cricket for 4-6 weeks - far from ideal. When they were trying to play redball cricket in England in October you knew it's gone too far.
Even ECB has realized that they needed to change the calendar for 2022.

One thing we couldn't afford to do was lose an early wicket. So, of course we lose an early wicket....

To paraphrase Murray Walker, our chances, which were nil before, are absolutely zero now.

Just looked at the squad there isn’t much else to bring in to make a change, I would probably be asking George Garton to get on the plane to gain some experience batsman wise god knows who could make a change to this shower.

Genuinely, I'd give them the 5-0 now and fly home, pay up the ACB for the lost ticket money.

68 all out

I can now delete my Virgin series link and watch something else instead.

Can we not just agree to forfeit the last two tests?

England really do get battered everywhere they go. Shame that chant is normally sung at 0-0

It was pretty much a certainty we were going to lose the series today, but christ that was absolutely pathetic.

Generally we do better at home with a different ball and pitches set for us, but the games are still close. Down under it's always a hammering.

I’m going to remain positive there are some good youngsters coming through and a lot were fast tracked this year because of the hundred, Jacob Betthel is one and they will start think about Rob Yates instead of Burns

I watched him a lot last year very correct and just wants to bat and bat. He’s not ready for test cricket yet but Burns never will be.

I know a number of people who know him well, very down to earth. Hope he doesn't get thrown in too early.
