He usually has comments on the BBC website, but I haven't seen any from him recently.
What newspaper is his column in?
Maybe I can find something online.

To think that the BBC pundits had this series down as an England win

This is how you bat to try and win tests away from home

A real day of test match batting by Sibley

I'm forecasting a batting collapse, Sibley out before he gets his century, Stokes hits a four and a six and is out shortly thereafter.
It will be left to Pope and Buttler, and we all know how erratic Buttler is.
South Africa will bat out for a draw or maybe even win.
After the game, Root will say "there are lessons to be learned, and we will learn them".

Stokes has got a 34 ball half century and Sibley has got his century. 335 ahead, the question of when to declare starts to come into play.

Well done Sibley.
Shows players can adapt. Came to warks as a one day specialist, middle order hitter.

But he was basically playing some one day stuff and 2nd XI red ball cricket. He certainly isn't the cricketer that arrived 3 years ago.
Hope Farbrace is out there looking for new batsmen as we won't be seeing Sibley this summer

In the most difficult position, there are just not many openers about .

I think it will be a difficult season ahead and they will need a lot of runs from the returning Bell and Sam Hain needs to start producing

Think the kids in the middle order showed a lot of promise. Yates has the temperament to open but maybe too soon to move him up.
What we will be is ridiculously over-staffed in the quicker bowling dept (surely can't have a repeat of the 2019 injury nonsense)

Needed that late wicket. Need early ones tomorrow or could waste Sibley's ton.

Yates needs more middle order time but will probably bat at three. There are a lot of quirks available as you say. This could be a relegation year especially if Sibley and Woakes are away most of the summer.

Another 4 wickets needed but Anderson our injured. Should be doable but England aren’t looking very threatening.

Pitch doing nothing but still time, this has been a good Test Match.

Newlands is a fantastic venue. I was there 4 years ago for SA v Eng.

This match isn't a great arguement for moving to 4 day tests.

Stupid idea.
Teams already struggle with over rates. Lose a session to weather or light and game is pretty much dead.

Cape Town is a fantastic place - I love it. The waterfront area will be buzzing tonight

Yes it’s a very special place, especially this time of year. Great weather and fantastic restaurants serving incredible local food and wine. World class.

Waterfront will be jumping and so will Camps Bay.

Usually get down there once every year but it’s been almost 2 years since our last visit. Must get back there soon.

Nicely set.
When Wood is fit he is seriously useful. Maybe just rotate him with Archer

Problem is, it’s rare that he is fit. I wouldn’t be surprised if gets injured again on this tour. His action is almost polar opposite to Archer. That said, great with the bat today and caused problems on a good pitch
