NEWS: Coventry City confirm match ticket prices for the 2017/18 season

The Concession category has been expanded to include all students (with valid NUS card), alongside Seniors (60+), Young Adults (21 and Under) and members of the Armed Forces.

Have they always done under 21's and Army?

Not surprised by the prices as ST stayed the same or in some cases went up in price.

But £26 for the 4th tier!

Should be £20 max.

They're accepting NUS cards again? Aw sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

This now works out better than me buying a season ticket and missing the games I wouldn't have been able to get to

Won't a fake NUS work? Had one to be able to get into the Colly.

"Is it student night?"
"No, You aren't coming in without NUS though"
"Here you go"

According to my NUS record, I'm doing a PHD in Aeronautical Engineering that will take me nine years, I just hope the stewards don't start asking me nerd questions about thermodynamics.

Bit pissed the NUS concession wasn't available as part of season ticket pricing.

24 and 26 full price on the day for League 2.

Club is clueless. Way to alienate the casual and walk up fans.

Wouldn't even pay £20 for a walk up in the premier league to be honest. The only time I'd even consider going up on the spur of the moment, if I hadn't already planned to, would be after a few beers at the beginning of an all dayer. Factoring in the ticket price and getting up there I'd be firmly staying in the pub.

Would think they will now try and encourage match packages as a better price option.

I could have probably got a match package and saved money because mid week games are a pain in the ass and occasional Saturdays there are things going on but I'm a super fan.

Doesn't matter Nick.

We have been through this a million times. It might be 'competitive' but that doesn't mean it is right.

£22 advanced ticket for a side just relgated to the fourth division is a joke.

I'll go to a few mid week games but I'm glad I started my own Saturday league team up. Nothing bitter, just think it is shit really.

They should drop the walk-up price completely. Believe they've missed a trick once again. sigh.

Concessions make it £13 per game for the 12-match package, that's about the same as early bird ST pricing isn't it?

£24 to watch pub league hoofball is a total piss take, football has some real issues with its pricing at all levels, at this rate, greed is going to kill the wonderful game.

£24 to "support the boys" and add to this years budget or it will be "your fault" when it's cut again.
Glad I've got an NUS if I decide to go.

I'm furious at the match day prices. Greedy and expensive. I wonder if this is their last season here and just getting as much as possible?

Na doubt it. Not many will be paying them prices individually.

Looking at last seasons price of football survey our cheapest ticket at £22 (is there anyway to buy in advance without getting a ticketmaster fee added?) would be the most expensive in the division. Only Blackpool and Colchester top us with their top price ticket.

I get football expensive and with our lack of matchday revenues we are more reliant on ticket revenues than most other clubs but even if it was only a token gesture the club should have done something. This is the lowest level pretty much anyone alive will remember us playing at, having the highest prices in the division is hardly going to encourage people to attend.

Relegated and put on the gate admission prices up by £2.
Two years ago it was £20.
Will certainly stop many attending, can't see occasional fans paying £34 for a thrilling encounter against Cheltenham, Barnet etc
Horribly wrong :-( Twenty is Plenty.

I know everybody's situation is different, but a match package makes it affordable if you intend to go to a few games. If you were ever only going to attend 2 or 3, let;'s not pretend handing over £24 rather than £22 or £20 would make a difference. You are going to go because you fancy going to the game or you don't (the £2 to £4 price difference makes naff all difference, just offers a cop out excuse for those who weren't going to go in the first place - even if it had been £18). People's prerogative to choose to go or not - just don't offer a lame excuse over 'not attending' 3 or so games a season.
