Same as them weirdos, they try and play it down but tomorrow is their cup finalAnyone who doesn't see Leicester as a rival are deluding themselves.
It's that simple!
Is it? Some prefer to bang on about Villa-another faux rivalry.Anyone who doesn't see Leicester as a rival are deluding themselves.

How is it faux, what a load of bolloxIs it? Some prefer to bang on about Villa-another faux rivalry.
When I was growing up we very rarely played Leicester, it was all about Villa. That's flipped in recent years. I find it hard to get too worked up about any individual team these days to be honest. Is it? Some prefer to bang on about Villa-another faux rivalry.
Agreed, but...........there is definitely an edge when we play them, home or away (as there is when we play Blues). Less so when we play the Baggies imo.I dont particularly give a shit about Leicester or Villa... its another game to win to me.
Out of curiosity why Man Utd and Spurs?Villa
Leicester
Birmingham
Sheff Utd
Man Utd
Spurs
In that order , I'm sure there's others but they top the list
Traditionally it was Peterborough and Northampton, hence the Sky Blue Song Proud Posh or Cobblers. Then it was Wolves late 60s early 70s with a lot of aggro. Leicester mid 70s to 87 when they were relegated that's when Villa came to the fore as it was our nearest rival. Then Leicester again with Villa mid nineties until 2001.All the midlands teams have bigger rivals than us.
There will be a bit more rivalry than usual tomorrow, but to be honest its hardly a big derby match these days, especially when compared to the Merseyside derby which is being played at the same time
Traditionally Villa was our local derby, but they didn't really give us a second thought, and its been so long since we've played them, that a whole generation of fans have never even been there. (Hopefully that will change next season, unless they get relegated)
Man U because I'm old and they were proper cunts back in the dayOut of curiosity why Man Utd and Spurs?
The Merseyside derby is a watered down sack of shit , there's more passion in an Amsterdam shop windowAll the midlands teams have bigger rivals than us.

We took it down from the Bridge and gave it yo block 26 boys.
The stewards took it off them no fire certificate!!!!!!!!
Cos they're in the song?Out of curiosity why Man Utd and Spurs?
I think I can add a little more context to what makes a rivalry.Traditionally it was Peterborough and Northampton, hence the Sky Blue Song Proud Posh or Cobblers. Then it was Wolves late 60s early 70s with a lot of aggro. Leicester mid 70s to 87 when they were relegated that's when Villa came to the fore as it was our nearest rival. Yeah this is fairI agree however it seems to be some fans seem to have issues with every fan base we come across.
Villa

Any of that down to Birmingham generally being a grubby, dislikeable club and Leicester being cheating bastards, though?Leicester and Birmingham would be who I'd consider our main rivals now.
They're not a proper football club, though.I hate MK Dons so you can add them to the list.
Yep-no extra points on offer. Same as any other-3 points for the win.I dont particularly give a shit about Leicester or Villa... its another game to win to me.
So in reality no one then.Traditionally it was Peterborough and Northampton, hence the Sky Blue Song Proud Posh or Cobblers. Then it was Wolves late 60s early 70s with a lot of aggro. Leicester mid 70s to 87 when they were relegated that's when Villa came to the fore as it was our nearest rival. Then Leicester again with Villa mid nineties until 2001.
So I didn't like united but that's because when I was growing up in the early to mid 00's they were 'the' team and were winning loads and everyone supported them and not Coventry which I found odd as a young lad.Man U because I'm old and they were proper cunts back in the day
Spurs cos of a bad experience down there years ago
Don't forget the days when all we had to look forward to in terms of local games were Northampton and WalsallTraditionally it was Peterborough and Northampton, hence the Sky Blue Song Proud Posh or Cobblers. Yeah I quite like watching the Villa. As you suggest though, I would expect all of that to change immediately if we were in the same division/we were to play them again. It's gotten to the point I don't even mind Aston Villa now, it's been that long since we've had a relevant rivalry with them.
Prefer them over Birmingham City. Maybe it would be different if we're in the Premier League though.
Leicester and Birmingham would be who I'd consider our main rivals now.
You could maybe include Sunderland at a push, but nobody seems arsed by that anymore
You don’t but most do, it’s not a problem.I dont particularly give a shit about Leicester or Villa... its another game to win to me.
