See his name cropped up on Cwr again today. Stuart Linnell was saying that this guy was the billionaire linked with a takeover. He was interested in buying city at the same time as SISU but backed off and described the club of being a "basket case". Was right wasn't he, were then and still are. Maybe uncle joe has gone back to him cap in hand, surely can't be any worse than the low life in charge at the moment.

Thought it was monkey boy keys who mentioned a billionaire being involved in the week leading up to fat bloke Clarkes interview???? Might be wrong but sure that's what i read/heard. From memory one of the consortium backers is supposed to be a billionaire so who knows, maybe it is this Alki guy as his and Elliotts paths have crossed before and he is actively involved with the Hoff. I guess time will tell.

if indeed it is he who is interested, and his wealth is in excess of 1 billion, then to rid us of this 'mob' would only take a max of 5% of his wealth,
a good opportunity i would have thought,
maybe 'kd' is at work trying to schmooze someone,
i hope not, but i wouldn't put it past him
