The Black Keys-El Camino.

One of very few albums without a single track I don't like.

Went and saw them in Nottingham about a year ago... They were excellent. Hadn't heard any of the album at that point. They played Gold on the Ceiling and I just thought "wow"! Very good live.

I could listen to the album all day long (and have done once or twice!). Oddly though Gold on the Ceiling is my least favourite-though that may just be because the rest of it is so good.

It's one of those songs that you'll like straight away and then the rest of the album starts to sound better than it the more time goes on. But it was very good live.

Haven't been to a live performance in a long time now. Annoyingly the Vaccines were playing at the Komedia in Brighton while I was down there but I never heard about it!

Pretty much any Bowie(except maybe the two Tin Machines, going to pretend that they never happened).

Surprised no Smiths on anybodys list.

The Queen is Dead, Meat Is Murder and The Smiths are all genius.

Talking Heads - Remain in Light.

De la Soul - Three feet high and Rising.

XTC - Black Sea and Big Express

Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy

Cocteau Twins - Treasure

Radiohead - Ok Comptuter

Nirvana - Nevermind

Will do for starters.

There was a thread on here a while back about albums you had rediscovered and mine was Green by REM, It's a work of art, I can't stop listening to Orange Crush.

This is a much easier question than "which are your favourite albums" because I can see the older ones that I continue to play frequently:

Adventure - Television (I know Marquee Moon is the supposed classic but I play Adventure more)
Waiting for a Miracle - Comsat Angels
Real Life and Secondhand Daylight - Magazine
Syd Barrett and early Pink Floyd
all Japan Albums but particularly Gentlemen Take Poloroids
Bitches Brew - Miles Davis
+ First four Cure albums. Drove up the M40 to Brizzle today listening to Pornography.
