Nice to see we have another thread where the usual brigade come on where the blame is being placed anywhere but Sisu/Otium. Pathetic really but just about sums some of you up, together with your sycophantic little likes to each other like a little bunch of playground bullies. I'll wait for the the predictable responses and then listen to the cowardly little caveats you put in about Sisu are to blame too but then go on to blame everyone else.

Both 'sides' are like that. I'm not sure why every thread comes down to apportioning blame. Highlighting the discrepancy of ethos of a children's charity running a pub isn't blaming them for anything, is it?

Yeah, I can see why. Problem is, this thread isn't exactly full of posts doing that so maybe the moobs can go back in the bra for a bit.

'Sides'? which side are people on? I thought most on here were for CCFC but just have differing views on why we are in this predicament. Not every thread comes down to apportioning blame and if you read what I said I wasn't blaming anyone, I was saying that certain posters are all over threads when the blame is anywhere but Sisu/Otium.

The premise of the thread is blaming SISU for the Higgs Trust's legal costs!

He says placing blame anywhere but ACL/CCC/Higgs/PWKH and getting sychophantic little likes.

Ok smartarse, get a post of mine where I say all the blame is at the door of Sisu and I'll donate a tenner to a charity of your choice. I have always said that all parties have had a part to play but you crack on. When you don't find it I'll expect a tenner from you to a charity of my choice, and you'll look a bit of a tit.

But that's not what I was doing when I posted and I wasn't answering anyone's post in particular, was I?

Similarly, if you find a post of mine where I say all the blame is on CCC then you donate a tenner to a charity of my choice.

I'm lost now tbh. Can we agree on the following?

SISU are not interested in the long or short term success of Coventry City FC

Coventry City Council are not interested in the long or short term success of Coventry City FC

The Higgs Trust are not interested in the long or short term success of Coventry City FC

No, but charities, particularly Childrens charities as everybody bangs on about, tend to keep away from investing in anything connected to alcohol, gambling, pornography, tobacco etc.

Most problems that Childrens charities deal with stem from alcohol and gambling problems, so raising money to deal with these problems by making money from them not the most ethical.

So the morality of how an organisation goes about trying to achieve its aims is important to you then?

It is if it's apparently a "Childrens Charity", would be a very strange person who didn't concern themselves with it.

Imagine you're not concerned.

Absolutely, I agree. However, CCFC are not the sole responsibility of CCC or the Higgs Trust, but they are the responsibility of Sisu/Otium which is why most of my anger is directed at them. This obsession by some that the Council have fucked us over as much as Sisu/Otium have in my opinion is wrong and if people are that bothered that they think a council has done wrong and need to be brought to book then some people are going to be very busy because Councils make mistakes all the time, just like other people do, human nature. What bothers me is CCFC. You know the lengths I have gone for my club and to see it get destroyed by a bunch of fucking wankers purely for their own financial gain hurts.

And like I said, you do always put your 'little' Sisu caveat which must make you feel so much better. But I'd best stop now as you've resorted to your 'knobbish' insults you're obviously a big lad who's not to be messed with.

Your completely right. If only fans directed as much anger towards sisu as they do the council and the Higgs we could unite as one and protest on mass every week and make a stand. It seems fans are happy just to sit on a PC and slate the council whilst sisu cause the death of our club. Ever since the derby protests on TV we've done nothing. Backbone of our fans is weak and in a way only ourselves to blame

I know CCFC aren't their responsibility.

It's more a response to the meaningless platitudes from the PWKH and Ann Lucas

Lucas is a politician, what do you expect? One of the reasons I'm thinking about voting green at the next election. I'm Labour through and through, just don't think Labour are anymore.

Haven't been for a long time unfortunately, though still Labour-lite, better than no Labour at all I suppose.

I'm the same pal. Voted Green in 2010 tbh. The local labour politician in my part of the world seems more interested in the NHS than anything else.

Ah... the people who are also apportioning blame to the CCC are all weak and do nothing?

So what would you do under a 'united' front? Personally think that we all know SISU are to blame but our wonderful council (and counterparts) have played their part but that seems to get missed by some on here as they are all too angry at SISU. There are alot of parties who have shat on us fans here but if you have a wonderful united front idea then I would be happy to get behind that banner.....

Over to you...

But the NHS isn't necessarily a bad thing to be interested in TBH. I just think that politicians as a whole have lost touch and are too interested in themselves and allowed fucking idiots like Farage to spawn and gain ground, but that's a different argument and not for a football forum I suppose.

I express my anger at CCC mainly because as a ratepayer I pay their salaries and I have watched them kill off what was once a decent city
