Fair play to him. We should never have sacked him when we did.

He's done/doing a fantastic job at Northampton.

He will always be a better than manager than the one who replaced him.

Treated like crap by ranson post Christmas, loosing key men his team was ruined and as ranson didn't tell him about the embargo, no replacements could be brought in. A fully fit Carsley, Turner and King would have probably got us in the play offs that season, But as usual ccfc decided it was time to make sure everything went wrong........ Remember we were 5th at Christmas before the decline began!!!!!!

I am surprised more on here didn't make up any excuse possible for him when he had his limbs amputated and his mouth sewn shut up with a rusty needle.

Genuinely believe we wouldn't have gone down with Boothroyd. Think we would have kept King if he had stayed for a start.

Under Boothroyd we had steel in the side, known as horrible, ugly Coventry that were physical and no one liked playing. Ever since, we have been the opposite.

He was the best we could have hoped for under the circs.
Not a yes man like many of our fans who think Sisu is the club.

Exactly, we had a bit about us. We wouldn't have got relegated under ab.

This time last year weren't the cobblers in a relegation fight?

Based on what? He got sacked because our form nosedived (generous term) and we were in serious danger of being sucked into a relegation dog fight, Thorn turned us around and got the job (with hindsight, a disastrous appointment, but he deserved this opportunity).

The 'ugly, horrible, steely' Coventry under AB were sussed out in December, and AB seemed impotent to change it around and rescue the season, hence he got sacked. I'll never forget QPR away, he brings on Platt to change the game, Warnock brings on Hall (CB taller than Platt) which nullified AB and it showed that we had been utterly sussed.

We had a good team under AB.

Under MR we played the best football (well, Nov-Dec) and we were feared more then, than at any point under AB. As for SP, say what you like, but factors out of his hands has severely hampered his plans, the most obvious being the Clarke injury.

I'd like to congratulate AB for the magnificent job he's at Northampton, and I'd like to see them to get promoted (but an away day at Valley Parade would be a good alternative).
