I'm sure Aide Boothroyd is looking at signing 2 maybe 3 of his old players at Colchester.

Ben Williams (GK)
Marc Tierney (LB)
and Jon Joe O'Toole (MID)

It was on sky text just before he came to us that he was trying to get David Prutton to sign a new deal for Colchester,saying that he could still easily play at higher level.So i think he could now be on his way to us.

Don't know much about Tierney, but he's a LB

I did some digging on Tierney as I've heard strong rumours that Bristol City and Huddersfield have made firm contact with Col U.

He's won 3 consecutive player of the year awards (1 @ Shrewsbury 2 @ Col U)

Bags of pace and loves a tackle. Strong with both feet (a must for any professional footballer - one footed pros boil my biscuits)

Oh and he has a Delap

I've heard Jonjo is a good player and we definitely need a left back

We're talking about him signing former players from colchester, but is there any from his watford days that would play well at our level?
