..........we're in for a tough half dozen games (not saying Millwall won't be tough but...)
Southampton (h) ...currently top
West Ham (h) ... currently 2nd
Brighton (a) .... currently 10th - have started the season with a bang
Cardiff (h) .... currently 9th - bit of a hiccup early Oct., but now picking up points
Portsmouth (a) currently 19th, but always a tough ground to get a result
Hull (h) .... currently 6th and playing really well.

We REALLY need 3 points at Millwall because out of the above games I can't see more than 4 or 5 points max. (and that's being optimistic!)

You should all know better. Football is a funny old game. Bet if you hung on to your predictions - you would be proven wrong!
That's the beauty of the game...if we all knew accurately as some predict our doom on here we could go win the lottery with ease.
fact is it will kick up surprising results over those fixtures. A week is a long time in football, so many things can change not just for us but the opposition too.
As I don't think we are that bad a side think we will come through those games stronger than we went into them. Bring it on!
As for Brighton? Said we would finish above them by season's end and still believe it.

We always up our game against the better teams. It would Cov all over if we lose tomorrow Tuesday and then get 3 points Saturday Haha

We are not that bad. I could see us getting 11 points out of this lot if luck starts to even itself out.

I'm afraid you make you own luck, not been able to hang on to league conceding in the last few minutes of games, has nothing to do with luck, just bad play

Agreed. Totally agree. People say we were unlucky against Palace and unlucky against Reading. Not true. We couldn't hang on against Palace so I don't see how that was unlucky and Juke blazed a penalty way over the bar against Reading. Again not unlucky, just a poor shot from the striker.

Unlucky is a deflected shot on goal that nestles in the opposite corner of the net or Juke slipping on the turf as he goes to take a pen or a very, very harsh referreering decision that results in a goal such as a handball in the area that wasn't a handball or a trip where the defender didn't even touch the player.

We have not been unlucky.

I am guessing at

Millwall - 1 point
Southampton -1 point
West Ham - 0 points
Brighton - 1 point
Cardiff - 0 points
Pompy - 1 point
Hull - 3 points

That would be excellent with only 2 defeats, but would still leave us with just 7 points from 7 games and that would probably have us sinking to the bottom of the table.

I reckon we'll pick up a couple of wins from those games. I can't wait for West Ham and Saints, should be real crackers.
