We all have to make our own decisions. Like the fact that you will be sitting in the away end.

As soon as we get a tonking you'll be back in the NOPM fold and before anybody asks, no I don't want us to lose any game

In fact going because they're playing well or winning is worse than those who attended since start. Have the conviction to stand up and be counted. Know that when our club was found wanting you were not gutless and spineless. NOPM KCIC

Just someone who is equally entitled to their opinion having spent thousands watching them all over the country for in excess of 30 years and don't want my club destroyed. If you can't see that by attending games there you're contributing to that then you're as clueless as the fans that go.

Loving the keyboard warrior insults, couldn't be further away but carry on with your lazy jibes and you may even make chief sports editor at the CET

Thankfully, most seem to have moved on from appointing themselves as moral arbiters.

He's proper old school, still reckons the Liverpool fans were to blame for Hillsborough.

I doubt most have moved on, just lots of sheep who think the current flavour of "you do what you think" rather than nail their colours to the mast. Fisher said fans would accept and return after a few games and if this disection of our fanvase is indicative he is right. Fickle Coventry city supporters. Just like Crewe in the hot and man Utd and arsenal away.

Even if we continue and remain delightfully consistent, there's a drubbing in there somewhere. No team escapes the odd reality check.

Ah bless, newbie grappa trawling through my old posts. Keep going you might actually learn something. And btw if you think the scousers werecompletely blameless you've obviously never been to a game against them. Best fans in the world my arse.

Confuses me this.

Surely if you go to watch Coventry City you go because you support Coventry City. You don't only start going because the team are playing well and winning.

Sadly this has all contributed to our demise over the years. If City fans had supported the team through the lean years and still attended in numbers we wouldn't be in this mess now.

This is why we had 5,000 against Burton in the JPT when it didn't seem to matter and 30,000 when Wembley beckoned.

Not having a go at you here necessarily, but fans should go because they are Coventry City supporters not just because the club are doing well at the moment.

Thats football, the better you do, the better the following, its human nature!

you'll get the die hards who will go no matter what, then you'll get the floaters who turn up for good games, whole families who never go to gamews only appear at wembley finals , we have to accept it.

I know that, but when a club is doing badly that's when it needs the fans the most.

I myself feel much more inclined to go when we are at our lowest because I feel the team needs to fans more than ever.

That is unfair in my book. He's come on here &, stood up to be counted by having the backbone you mentioned earlier & admitted he's caved-in to a higher motivating factor for him. thats neither gutless nor spineless.
I don't like his decision - I wish he'd been more resolute in not going, but I respect his decision & honesty.
At the end of the day it's individual choice.
Stay strong - STAY AWAY

Genuine question! How does the £24,000 from 1500 supporters paying £16 every other week help to keep CCFC in Northampton?

To be fair, as much as I support it, NOPM will do more damage to the club, may even drive it to liquidation meaning we have to start again. I'm starting to consider whether it is really the right thing to do. We cannot moan if the club goes out of existence due to the actions we are taking.

we would not be taking these actions if the club was playing in coventry and not 34 mile away and the owners using it as leverage to obtain the ownership of the Ricoh for
next to nothing
