I thought the pitch yesterday was pretty good . Ironically it was being watered at half time. I remember the ricoh pitch resembling a beach last season.

Just goes to show how well a pitch can be kept when someone doesn't cut the maintenance budget.

Wasn't the "hysteria" about games being postponed and the resulting fixture congestion?

Surely we all agree that the pitch is a horrible, horrible pitch to play on.

Funny.

You say sixfields to me and I'm not the least bit concerned about the playing surface, all that concerns me is why my team from Coventry is playing there in the first place.

If you say ricoh to me the last thing I'm concerned about is what the playing surface was like last season, all that concerns me is why isn't my team from Coventry playing there this season and any that follow.

Still, I guess that must be the difference between a CCFC fan and a super fan. One is concerned about the long term future of the club. The other is more concerned about having a cheap dig at the stadium in Coventry that we should be at while trying to big up the soon to be non league cow shed we are being held hostage at.

That's not what I am talking about though.

This is surely the worst ever pitch due to the simple fact it is 35 miles away from Coventry.

You are free to post what you like. I may be off the mark but it seems as though you are pro playing at Northampton.

As others have said Ricoh pitch last season caused by Football club owners business decisions.

My point is that the pitch looks good as it was only a couple of weeks ago we were worried about two teams sharing a pitch after the wettest January/February on record. My comparison with the ricoh is fair as only one team used it.
