So we finished i believe 15 points off the playoffs last season .
This season so far after 8 games we are 4 points better off than last seasons 12 at the same stage , so thats 4 points made up so far assuming 69/70 will hit the playoffs this season .
Interestingly after 16 games last season we had picked up 16 points .. after picking up just 4 points from the following 8 games ..
You would have to believe that we will be substantially better off after 16 games this season .
What a difference 12 months make PUSB

I don't want us to shoot for the playoffs, I want us to shoot for automatic promotion. But you are right we are better off that last season. We have a better team and a better manager so don't see how we can fail to do better.

I don't get why the aim is always to make the play offs. A few seem to forget that there are another 3 games to play after getting that far.

Considering out pitiful performances in the bigger games in the jpt, it should be automatic promotion or nothing.

I think top 6 would be a great achievement , and a real boost the the city and its supporters , remember its 46 years since the club have finished top 6 so i would be over the moon .

We have to aim for automatic promotion. If we fall a little short, we would still have a chance of going up. I don't see the point of aiming for a consolation prize.
