So, in a nutshell, they specialise in acquiring companies that are in big trouble, put them back on their feet and sell them on at a profit - that's got something of a familiar ring to it.

Just to clarify, is the OP saying that this guy is PH IV's right hand man IN HIS BID, or is he making a bid on his own? The thread title doesn't make that clear!

Are Paragon not the company involved with developing the old courtaulds site at the junction of foleshill road and lockhurst lane? This site runs all the way through to Stoney Stanton Road next to EMR metal recycling. Planning permission was in to develop the site, but it ground to a halt as they could not find a new home for EMR.

Only reason i mentioned it was because the site mentioned by mark labovitch the other week was paragon park where Sisu wanted to build a stadium and i knew Paragon were the owner of this site? Looking back through my paperwork it is a company called Paragon (UK) Limited and just a coincidence. So have updated this post.

Nothing to read here, move along please!

True and there is a hell of a lot of hurdles to jump before this happens and it may not...but it is good to know that we are dealing with serious money men here and not the fantasists who have used us in the past to get publicity.

Totally agree. They seem to have the finance, let's hope they have the desire.

To be fair if it doesn't go through I think we can safely say it won't be because he was not interested or could not afford it or is a fake.

It will be because of the evil actions of Baroness Greenback

I don't think they're oblivious to the obvious economic and financial benefits that a successful football club would bring to the city of Coventry. I reckon that they would think that the two aren't mutually exclusive and would want both to happen.

I think firstly and foremost they want the land and the opportunity for making loads of cash. The club just happens to come with all that . I just hope all these "property developers" don't forget about us too much in the quest to build all these hotels that no one needs to stay in.

Well hopefully PK4 is being honest when he says he is a football fan.
