Maybe so, but even when he played poorly he still gave 100% and after getting back from that trip today the one thing I crave is players why try.

Keith Hill at Rochdale, literally had no money to spend in the summer having to bring the likes of Calvin Andrew in to replace top scorer Scott Hogan and yet has Rochdale playing an entertaining brand of passing football. Oh and they're fifth in the league with a squad worse than ours.

I like Hill, but honestly, he'd probably stay exactly where he is for that exact reason. He loves that club, too. If we were a division higher, maybe, but why swap a relegation battle for a playoff chance? Because of our greater potential? I'm not feeling that any more.

I was a fan of Baker when he was here but I'm not sure how we go from him being one of the better of a group of under-performing players to manager in waiting. The last thing we need with the state the club is in would be to have someone learning on the job. Maybe if he was still here as a player and doing his badges he could start to transition into a coaching role but that's about as far as I would go.

We can do better than Adkins. Rosler I would take however. Robins to come back and complete the great work he started would be my choice. Shame he went to scunny really as compo to them plus SP on his stupid 4 year deal would get expensive.

My only experience of management is via football manager. I should think I'll do just fine at the real thing?
