Some Boro talk on X that Adi might be leaving to rejoin the Cov back room.

I can’t see Adi playing third fiddle to Frank and Joe, particularly if it’s true that Adi managed most of the coaching when he was with Robins.

I could see Adi come back in a new role heading up all Youth age groups should the club decide to move in that direction ….

It's not true. The account that posted it as a 'joke' has even said as much.

Was Adi at Chelsea at the same time as Frank and Joe? But even so I can't see this happening

Would apply to both clubs.
But as Frostie pointed out, not true.

Unless it's really just appearing as a joke and testing the water? Stranger things, maybe they've already hit buffers?

Maybe it’s a cunning plan to unsettle Boro? Or supposing it did happen?

Isn't his partner from Coventry? Maybe there are personal reasons why they'd look for a move back to this area. No idea how Adi would or would not fit and strengthen the coaching team. I'll trust Lampard on that

From what I have gleaned since he left, it seems he was a bit of a training ground bully. That Waghorn article was a bit of an eye opener and raised some concerns about how things were behind closed doors. Again, no thanks

The players in the main loved Adi. See his interactions with them after matches. Just like Lampard really. Also, how he interacted with his old players from Chelsea days when they played for other teams against us. Evidence JDS going to him after the Boro match away.
There will always be players that don't like authority. Waghorn came over as a bit of a nob in that interview. Sounds as if he deserved a bollocking.

This from the club legend Martin Waghorn who gave 110% comittement to our club and wore his heart in his pocket over a bloke who helped resurrect this club and got us to where we are today

Struggling to think of many times we've actually done it. Needs to be a quiz.
Robins came back with great success.
On the playing side I can only think of McSheffrey and Baker, who of course never actually played in that second spell.

Duffy Hall Gary Gillespie can’t think of any others. Bit that’s almost a back line there.

I was thinking Duffy but also thought it was constant loan renewals without a gap so wasn't sure whether to count it. Marcus Hall is a good one.

Lee Carsley another as it happens, also Bigi who came back for the worst season of all time but at least scored at Wembley.

Steve Hunt..we signed him from the Cosmos, then he went back to them before he returned to Cov before selling him to WBA.

Be interesting to see how Callum Wilson gets on when we re-sign him next season.

Quite an obscure one, but Garry Thompson's brother, Keith.

Started with us, didn't do much, went to Spain, came back to us, didn't do much.

Managed at least one goal, though, as he has the distinction of being the first substitute I ever saw score for us, v. West Ham.

Also, Clarke-Harris.
