Because that is where our owners have taken us.

No investment, No Interest, No Management, No Ground and no Trust from the supporters

But I suppose that's ok.

I take it all back thank god we are playing Fleetwood.
I suppose it could have been Nuneaton.... Oh well give it a couple of seasons who knows.

But I'm glad you are happy with it.

It's been the same for over 10 years. Highfield Rd was sold in 1999. We've been a heavily indebted club heading only one way since. It is not SISU's fault we don't own our own ground.

I'll not happy with it - you're like a silly old woman with comments like that

Ah, the old "supporting the lads" line. I got slagged off for doing that.

But I go to every game so sorry I do support the team but not the regime.

And as they are the ones that are killing our club I would have thought that would be every fans objective?

Did SISU sell the club's home of 90 odd years?

Did they sell half of the share in ACL?

So what you're saying is, SISU own the club but don't own the problems. How does that work? That would explain why they haven't cured any of our problems and why should they when they have customers like you who are willing to accept that.

Anyway, just to return to the OP, Adams Park is a Desso pitch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desso_GrassMaster). Expensive, hard-wearing, and we haven't got one. It's nothing to do with the relative abilities of the groundstaff.

It's unlikely there will be any time to do anything about the pitch this season, so it's only going to get worse between now and March I'd venture. But it's OK guys, the council have assured us that Wasps coming here won't be to the detriment of CCFC, so I presume there's a contractual obligation that the rugby teams will only allowed to play in slippers.

As to whether a Desso pitch will be installed by Wasps, we'll have to see. I'm pretty sure that on the radio the Wasps guy said that they'd consider it, but only if there was a long term commitment by CCFC to stay. Happy to be corrected if there's anyone out there who knows different.

Don't tell SP it'll be another excuse for losing. Anyway, our pitch should be fine with the amount of horse shit we keep putting on it.

I was asked by Sisu to help out!!

But they won't listen so had to turn them down.

So while they are here the answer sadly has to be NO.

They keep trying though.

You said it's not SISU's fault. How long have they been here now? Their backward FAILED attempts to wrestle control of the Ricoh not only FAILED it's also pissed off the people we needed to buy it off to the point where they accepted the first and only ever real offer to come their way. If that isn't SISU's fault I don't know what is. They made no real attempt to buy in to the Ricoh and burnt all the bridge's that lead there in the process so if you truly believe it's not SISU's fault you can only conclude that you accept that they own the club but don't own the problems.

Tony - the simple fact is that the club ceased owning its own ground in the late 90s. This is not SISU's fault. They bought that problem but didn't buy it on the absolute expectation that it would be addressed.

They can be blamed for not agreeing a deal for the Ricoh but due to its trilateral nature the other parties also failed.

So now you accept that they bought the problem but they didn't buy it on the absolute expectation that it would be addressed?

So now you're saying that no one should be upset that Wasps are now owners of the Ricoh and not us.

Perhaps I'm wrong here but I expected it to be addressed and I would hope that I'm in the majority of our fan base on that. You clearly aren't, perhaps it sits more comfortably with you that way rather than admit SISI have failed the club and it's supporters.

If you're not expecting to be addressed I assume you'll be championing staying at the Ricoh as a renting tennant and vehemently against the proposal of a new ground that belongs to the club?

Whelan owns the stadium and collects rent from both tenants. He's a very good businessman who will not give anything away for free. Likes to think that he's Mr Wigan

Do I? That's quite the assumption.

I feel the club has been treated poorly by everyone.... SISU, CCC, ACL, Higgs, Richardson, McGinnity and no doubt countless more.

The difference is you only attribute blame to one party when the irrefutable evidence suggests that culpability lies with numerous parties, over the last 15 years.

I get it - just blame SISU exclusively with the masses and you don't have to think for yourself.

Even better wait along for some penniless attention seeker to turn up promising 'fan-ownership' and you can all pile in for your piece.
