its just like Clarke, agree a short term loan so he can play while agreeing a perm contract. MR not saying much bcos there would be some lower championship clubs who might snatch him

Just need to be able to tempt Bailey in the summer now.

Would be wary about any more perm signings, if we go up well be looking to replace a few. This squad plus a loanee or two will see us through to the end of the season.

Adams was Robin's most important signing to date. As he's mentioned he gives the team the balance on both sides to get forward more. Look at the results since he came into the team. Christie does the same on the other side even though his form has dipped. Once Thomas gets a run the midfield will improve to another level too.

Getting him perm for a few years would be great.

It's simply a short loan extention to allow for extra negotiation on permanant deal.

Id say you got it nailed Samo, i think exactly the same. They are in negotiations for a perma deal and this will give them longer to sort it out.

Villa are looking for some players better than their current first team so might take ROD and Hussey

If this is a short term loan while they sort out a perm deal i will be very happy. Ive been impressed with what ive seen from Adams so far

Good signing. He's been great since he's signed but this is gonna spell the end for Chris Hussey, which makes me a bit sad. He's a cracking player and i dunno why Robbo hasnt given him a chance. He can get first team football at a club of the same calibre as City so i wish him well, but i think Adams is just that little bit better

Hussey can't tackle, more suited for a wide midfield role

So he's signed for a week extra so he can play in the JPT, then we're gonna sign him permanantley. For free i presume? Wouldn't Expect SISU to pay anything towards it

He's playing for nothing. Where do you think his wages come from?

Personally I don't think it sounds that hopeful!
Robin's has talked up players coming back (Thomas, Bell) about opportunities and the need for alll to get their heads down and make it happen for themselves. Would suggest Hussey going nowhere and Adam's just filling in while options of going elsewhere are negotiated?

I hope I'm wrong but Robin's comments seem to hint at the ball being in Fisher/Waggots court and he will work with what he has in front of him.

Maybe MR has bought himself a week to get rid of someone else first. If he can, then Adams could replace their wages?...

I read on twitter that someone believed we were signing him on a free, but with a massive sell on clause.

If he is on a free then that's damn good business as he is a decent player at this level and maybe even Championship (dare we dream?) - if there is a sell on clause then lets hope he performs so well that when it comes around we are bitching about that then when a Prem club is willing to py millions for him but for now lets hope it goes through and we finally have a good attacking left back.

According to your post its a free with a huge sell on clause.

Sunderland are understood to be prepared to let Adams further his career by joining Coventry on a long-term basis, with the deal likely to involve a free transfer with a hefty sell-on clause included.

Thats great business, even a massive sell on fee is still profit from nothing for us and a cracking left back to boot! Maybe the shit is turning around at CCFC

It does seem that we have started doing alot right since Joy Seppala has been involved personally.

It has to be said, he has been fantastic since he came on. Hope his form keeps up now that he's likely to be "ours".
