Adam is a decent guy and has made a difference since his arrival. The club will be a poorer outfit without him. There has been a number of problems that he has fixed and went above and beyond to do so.

I would love to know why he is leaving. So that is 3 "decent" guys ( CA, TM and now AB) that have left since the start of the season ...if they were that decent they would have either a) made a difference or b) on leaving had the honesty to advise decent supporters just what was going on at CCFC and what in their opinion the future holds!!

We have this constant high turnover in staff but still the main Turkey stays in situ, earning a fortune for what ? Talking up the magical la la land stadium !

The only reason I can think of that Fisher remains in post is that he must have some of his own cash invested in Otium giving him a vested interest.

When you say "in post", he actually has a full-time job doing other things and splits his time between London and Germany - check out his LinkedIN for a flavour of this. He is able to take time out to do some Coventry work but it's very much a case of fitting round his main job(s).

His low profile in the last few months has been surprising - don't blame him after some of the flak he got at Charlton and Vale but even so it feels like the ship is adrift with nobody on the bridge.

He left because the future is bleak. It isn't necessarily because something is happening in the background, but there are too many challenges and politics involved fighting little battles with Wasps/ ACL.

The consensus is that working at CCFC is extremely hard work - skeleton staff, being asked to do more for less, politics, uncertainty, lack of resources, lack of leadership.

Think AB is one of the sensible ones that sees life in the bigger picture and that he can do a similar job elsewhere without any of the headaches.

There is no conspiracy with this, apparently he'd just had enough of working in such difficult circumstances.

Do you know this for a fact? If you do, is he going to be replaced?

Do you have more information? You seem to be in the know?

Presumably the appointment of a new commercial manager/director will wait until the CEO/COO role is filled. That being said, there might be quite a lot of job role currently going unfulfilled so you would think that time is of the essence in terms of making some appointments (although granted AB will remain in post for a couple of weeks yet)

I have a number of sources, not going to disclose any or answer calls to prove anything. People can either take what I say or not, but I have no reason to lie.

Not sure there is more information to give on this particular thing - it was just a personal choice from someone who it seems has had enough.

Don't know about replacement - the only people that will know will be those at the top of the club. Very little info is passed down the food chain on anything.

Are they club side sources or ACL / Wasps side?

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to work out that working as a Commercial (Sales) Director for CCFC is difficult, even more so in an environment where fans' continually talk about proactive campaigns not to spend their money with you. I wouldn't do it either.

It's not rocket science either, attendances are not meeting targets, side is failing on the pitch, owners are as quiet as usual.............time to start trying to repair some bridges and admit previous ticket policy was a disaster, throw out some offers and giveaways, especially now with Xmas coming. I'm a big believer in a sold seat for a tenner is a lot better then fuck all and even though there isn't the F & B spin off { Although that said, footfall and revenue to Wasps does give us more clout in rent negotiations }, a good match could result in a return or a programme sale or even some sort of merchandise purchase ?! Trouble is they are not sales people the are bean counting accountants who run CCFC, plus they couldn't give a shit !

Given todays news you could be forgiven as seeing this departure as rats deserting a sinking ship but given the glowing reference that CJ has given him I wouldn't be so cruel as to use the "R" word but you get the point.

You are a twat at times. Like most employees of CCFC it's just somebody making a living.

So how has what I said made me a twat? I recognise he's only making a living and have made a point of not calling him a rat given that someone who has dealt with him personally gave him a glowing reference of going above and beyond the line of duty for the club. He also came with a good reputation having been previously employed by a premier league club. All I have pointed out is that our ship is sinking and people are leaving. Is that wrong? How does it make me a twat pointing out the obvious?
