I thought he did ok today, has had a long lay off after his broken leg.
Am looking forward to seeing more of the lad over the season.

That shot of his that hit the post would have been a lovely goal too.

Got better as the game went on, our best player today IMO

I like the look of him! Always looking for the ball and the workrate he put in, especially for his chance that hit the bar was very impressive

Hopefully we can get some air time on TFLS for a change and I'll be able to see for myself!

I though Wood, Clarke, Murphy and Cody all good too.

Given that Jennings is reported as being useful when he came on and Fleck until the knock, that's half the team! Suddenly, there's hope..

The new lads + Clarke + Wood did well. Barton was ghosting past players second half so promising. Fleck looked good too tho gone early. Sheffers and particularly Hussey looked poor but may have been a bit of shock, their #5 was putting himself about a lot.

I didnt expect barton to be the elegant type of lurch that he is, the total opposite to a kanu or a Mertesacker. Barton share similarities to a wild horse in the way he moves.

He runs like an elegant lanky 70's footballer.

EDIT: he gallops. Looks like he'd be good over jumps.

His free-flowing hair(mane) makes it all 10 times better. The way it bobbs around and picks up in the wind
