Quite clearly SISU arent coming back to the Rioch. ACL are quiet and are losing revenue week by week, wonder what their plan is, surely they are being put under pressure by Ricoh, Compass etc

Seriously, that can't be their plan.

If it was, SISU would have them in court for breach of copyright.

It's neck and neck in the race to the bottom that's for sure.

I thought the Higgs side of ACL wanted to accept the CVA but the council side didn't?

Sure I read that somewhere.

Yes that's right. I think the question is why? What did they hope to achieve? It certainly didn't help the football club.

Acl are a management company running the Ricoh on behalf of CCc and alan Higgs so CCc are the party making the decisions

Dog dancing is scheduled to coincide with the next city game at northants.

Then Ladies darts.

Then watching paint dry.

.....But ample parking is available at £10 a pop & Miley Cyrus will be on tour in 2016 so its all good.

At CVA meeting the Higgs charity were a creditor as a stakeholder in ACL and also independently as Alan Higgs Centre (CCFC monies due for use of centre by academy). The centre accepted terms of CVA, the ACL didnt?

I'm pretty sure the Alan Higgs Centre (not the Charity) accepted the CVA.

They were at great pains to point out that they were separate from the Charity, as I recall.

Was hoping that somebody would have said "Are you Tim???" by now, so you could respond:

"Err, well yes I am actually, thanks for being able to read"

I imagine they were hoping to avoid the cost to the taxpayers of Coventry of a pointless Judicial Review (and now EU legal crap). Just a guess like.

Again we haven't got any proof that they're losing money just your statement that they are. However they've at least published their accounts..........

Thats not what the last set of accounts suggest and they didn't get any rent? But I believe there are some plans afoot.

but wont that have included income from Compass etc etc ?. This year currently wont will it ?. Be very interesting to see. Announcing a concert on the odd wed night twice this year would be interesting, but announcing a team or other regular sporting event would even further cement our place away from the city in the medium future

I don't see how they are loosing money. They never had the rent paid, no loss of money from rent. The Compass deal was a service deal and any loss would have been minor, how much did you all spend at the game?

The venue will become very popular and they will tap into the NEC exhibition business. This was not always open before because they could not have a major event on a Saturday when the team was playing at home.

It is not good but it is also a great opportunity foe the RICOH to become a major exhibition centre.
