I think we have to now conclude what has been happening here is now pretty clear.

ACL did not offer the club the reduced rent. They offered it he administrator.

ACL's statement, fishers statement and the administrators statement pretty much confirm this. One has to conclude they believed that the action would result in a prevention of the share going to otium - as many on here knew - that failed

They wanted to force sisu out and rather like a village idiot taking on a Goliath they failed. Sisu are experts in operating within the law.

The council and ACL have failed the supporters. Sisu are now enjoying themselves as they are in home territory. The investigations will raise questions but nothing illegal wi be found. As for the judicial review, if sisu make a commercial decision to take that on I fear for the council.

Fans have gained nothing from today.

ACL need to offer the deal to otium and we move on.

No the offer to the administrator was no rent. Fisher is spinning the new rent offer and you know it.

Fisher acknowledged the latest rent offer to Sky Sports, now he claims it was never made to him. I don't think Fisher is capable of telling the truth.

Read ACL's statement as to why they took the action they did.

Until today, the administrator acted on behalf of the company who as entitled to the golden share. Why would ACL not talk to him?

Seppella has never ever been convicted of a criminal offence. Oh yes, they will operate in the law.

Under insolvency law to put an offer to the administrator is illegal as effectively what they did us to say the offer stands as long as otium don't own the club.

In all of this I don't understand how Fisher has supporters backing his drivel. Not saying Grendel is backing SISU at all now.

BTW Grendel, simple answers will suffice.......

Are you going to matches this season?

'Home games at Sixfields?

Away matches?

Home matches with SISU still in charge at the Ricoh?

Would you back a phoenix club in Coventry?

Until today, when we are no longer in administration.

Not overly useful.

1. I'm not going to NTFC and I never will
2. I think fans should boycott home AND away
3. I would buy a season ticket like a shot if we moved back to the Ricoh - SISU or not
4, I won't support a phoenix club.

As the CEO of the football club has very publicly and, on presing by the radio host repeated it, claimed he's keen for talks about the Ricoh, shouldn't pressure be put on to make them actually happen?

Fisher said he would talk to ACL now that the CVA is out of the way. Let's hope BOTH sides see sense, meet and sort this out.

Okay so what do we have to do to get Tim to attend? He was dismissive at the forums about going to a meeting, maybe the Trust could be there as mediators?

OK, let's get this straight. In your opinion, ACL offered the rent deal to CCFC Ltd.

A rent deal that would have meant that CCFC Ltd could have traded financially in a far more robust way than the move to Northampton will allow them to. And yet the administrator, who at one point stated he would to act as a mediator, couldn't act on this. That is absolute rubbish.

I'd accept that it's possible that he might not have been able to write the deal into the CVA (although I'd like to know the precise legal reasons why) but there's no way the two sides couldn't have discussed this deal via his role as a mediator.

The truth is, there has never been a rent deal that SISU would accept. They've shown it time and time again.

As for the SISU 'experts at operating inside the law', that's not quite true is it. They've been caught out before in the High Court. Their recent accounts seem to suggest they're not even experts at running their own business.

And your statements on the JR, and any investigations that come out of the liquidation - complete supposition. I could just as well say the JR will get thrown out, and the investigations will turn up something fairly horrid for SISU. We'll see.

(Edit: Sorry, this meant as a response to Grendel, the original opening poster).

I'd be happy with a mediator. Not the trust though, who appear to have nailed their colours to an Elliott/Hoffman/Haskell mast at the expense of anything else.

Could someone explain what purpose Holdings now has if Otium has the share?

So in 5 years time we can brush off our dusty old notes on Administration for dummies, and argue if Holdings or Otium entertainment are the club?

I hope so too - but if you were listening I think it's fairly obvious that that statement had to be pulled out of him like a four-foot wisdom tooth.

I can't see that TF will ever deal honestly with ACL, though obviously he doesn't want to show that to the public.

Funny how reading positions can be different isn't it?

Not saying you're wrong as who knows! But from my reading he was desperately keen for talks, as now the balance of power shifts in his direction.

Regardless of which reading's right however he's said it, so now's the time to push for it.

Don't disagree, Duff. It was like pulling teeth, but you have to live in hope that talks will happen. And as I said BOTH sides need to make the talks happen.

Okay I'm sure someone could be found who is neutral and removed from all this. Also it would be nice if details of the offers and counter offers from both sides were published verbatim but I bet that'll never happen I wonder If ACL would agree to that first which would put the pressure on Young Timothy to agree to it (if Joy says yes).
