Have you NOT noticed long term top flight club playing at was for long time non league club?

Nothing against Accrington. I get embarrassed telling people who we are playing most weeks.

I had a far better day out yesterday than I would of going to some sterile premiership bowl, not going to Accrington, (wish I was), but I bet it will be a cracking trip.
The only draw back is watching football that would make your teeth bleed, it's so poor.

First game of the season for me and my son. Have a funeral in Rugby on Friday so will pop in and see the might Sky Blues on the way back up to sunny Scotland!

I'd rather support my local club through thick and thin than be a plastic glory supporter.

Watched some Portsmouth games last year on TV and thought the same ! The football was sterile but they kept clean sheets. We have to stop thinking of our premership heritage and recognise we have some good Division 2 players who if they were better would not be with us?

Our first season in the top flight lost 3-0 at highfield road I remember Johnny Haynes running the show without breaking sweat. It was 1-1 at Craven Cottage they finished bottom and we just escaped can't remember much about that game though except being chased by skinheads.

Saw Fulham not long after..Johnny Haynes still playing, in the third division against Barrow AFC in Barrow. Barrow now long gone.

We are just north of Glasgow in Callander. We wouldn't be going if I didn't have to go to a funeral on friday.

Or are the ones who have massively contributed to us finding ourselves in the bottom tier.

Yep.... and in the same way that cream rises to the top, the shit sinks to the bottom, as proven by Russel Slade and Nathan Clarke becoming League 2 fodder.

Doubt that Adge! Signed a lot of players this season so would say only 3 players from last season - mind you Stokeshardly played last season so probably 2

Will be going if I can make it and also get a ticket. Was going to take the wife. Love winding her up. Was going to tell her I was taking her to see Wham if we ever got to play at their ground. But the sad loss of George Michael put an end to that one

Allocation of 1,341 sold out. 200 more on Thursday then POTG available the club have said.

Our home support is a bit up and down but our away support has stayed consistent over the years, credit to the club

Will be travelling up from london on Saturday around 9am.

We have room for a couple of fellow fans wanting a lift up, will be around or through cov around 1030/11am.

Found a cheap b n b in preston of all places, so coming back on Sunday am. Happy to help any fans and saves me listening to my son for 4 hours on long trip up.

Pm me if any fans coming from West london or cov, wanting a lift up and back next day.
